The song was composed by Kevin for his love of string ensembles. Inspired by the velvet green appearance of his garden lawn on a warm summer's day.
Kevin Kern is legally blind.

It depends. Sometimes it is a musical instrument or performance that inspires me, a sound in nature (birds), a night filled with stars. It can be many things. Sometimes I have awakened with the idea fully formed.
