On one of Shawn Michael's documentaries, might be Heartbreak and Triumph, that Vince actually admits to knowledge of it the day of it happening, and authorizing it, until he got the reaction afterwards.

i dont blame nash at all for going to wcw. he had a pregnant wife at home and was offered more money and less dates. there is always the thought of "what if i get injured, or dont draw and am out of a job in a year or two...?" so he did what he had to do to provide. i respect that decision.

Because Razor Ramon and Diesel were faces who were supposed to be feuding with Shawn Michaels and HHH. I can't remember exactly if those were the two faces and heels, but I just know two were faces and two were heels and had feuds and hated each other and showed that it's all a show.

He couldn't have possibly expected Vince to match WCW's offer. Even if he could have matched it, he wouldn't have. WCW overpaid all their former WWF talent.

I've seen that documentary, and I don't remember Vince saying that at all. I remember other people making that claim before...namely Nash saying it elsewhere. But from everything I've ever read and seen they did this on their own without telling anybody. And for the record, Nash has been caught lying numerous times about stuff like this, so it's nothing new that he'd lie here. He's well known to be one of the biggest "politicians" in wrestling.

@DelinquentBilly yes he would have. He said himself he didn't wanna let Scott n Kev go. Glad he did tho cuz wrestling history would have been wayyyy different. Ppl can say what they want about Nash but he left a HUGE mark on the business, whether someone sees that as good or not

I agree but in all honesty me and all my buddies were watching wrestling when we were 10 years old. Everyone of new it was fake but it was still cool to watch. Its amazing to me to hear guys like Bam Bam (RIP) and bobby the brain say wrestling is dead because kayfabe is gone. They really believe that we thought it was real. I don't know anyone that is a fan and thinks that its a real sport. Real stunts, fake out come.

It was prior to the open admission that wrestling was all a work. Vince was aware that people knew that wrestling was, for lack of a better word, fake by then but he still enforced something of a storyline kayfabe. Plus based on everything that's ever been said about it by anybody else involved Nash is lying here. Vince didn't know this was going to happen, and certainly didn't approve it.

Oh...so you think that Triple H spent months in the dog house, being buried, after that moment for no apparent reason then. Got it. I guess they decided to not give him the win at King of The Ring as they had planned just because.

@ak47523 Yeah, Mr. McMahon is a lot of things but stupid aint one of them. Financially, the Federation couldn't afford to put money UP for Wrestlers like Ted Turner could. However, when WCW began to trail in the ratings those ridiculous contracts didn't make good sense anymore. The WWE is always where everyone (for the most part) wants to be, and work for,in the U.S. at least.

According to Bret Hart all the Kliq guys are over rated and can't work. I agree with u though. I knew it was fake when i was 10 watching. If ur in a real fight would u through a guy in to the ropes? if u did do u think he'd keep running like he can't stop coming towards u? lol It kills me that some wrestlers thought that most of us think its real.
