When Kevin is talking about his stories with George Carlin and how he quotes Mr Carlin, it’s great how he mimics Carlin’s cadence and delivery. Absolutely great stories. It’s truly a blessing that Kevin Smith gave Carlin a platform as an actor, and not just a standup comedian. For example, his work in Jersey Girl was absolutely awesome! Knocked it out of the park

Say what you want about Kevin Smith, and you may likely be right, but he’s living his dream. He making movies that he wants to do, goes on tour to talk about his films and whatever else he has in mind, gets to explore other miscellaneous projects of his interest and gets paid for ALL OF IT! He’s beyond winning in the end and he’s one of the luckiest bastards on earth for it. I hope in that lucky in succeeding in my dreams.

He has his fan base still. After Red State I have been 50/50 on his work, but I like Clerks 3 and more power to him for having a career. He just needs to keep his films funded outside of major motion picture studios to give him free creative control like he has been having.
