As much as I don't agree with all the panic buying we've seen on social media over the last few days - we have an excuse! Andy only eats a very limited diet, and his favourite foods are all the kinds of things people have been stocking up on, so we had to join in the panic buying! Also, he had some changes to his usual school routine this week including an extra day out in the community, a ride on a public bus and his final parents evening before he starts sixth form in September. We also went back to Inflatanation for more bouncing fun, this time with Amy, found out if Anna got the job she applied for last week, and also got the results of Lucy's driving theory test.

ABOUT KEVIN CHAPMAN
I'm a 37 year old KZbinr from the UK. I've got a cracking beard and I'm currently going through the autism diagnosis process. I started this channel back in 2017 and by the time I left my full-time job as a Computer Science teacher in July of that year, my partner Anna was trapped in our house by our son Andy, who is autistic and had refused to go to school for 18 months. Our daughters Lucy and Amy and our dog Dave hardly saw me because I was always working to try and solve all our problems! Today I'm a full-time content creator and always at home when the kids get home from school (all our kids!) and Anna has been able to return to university. I missed Andy’s “Good job, Daddy”. Anna, you will get that job and have that experience you need to get the job that’s more challenging and exciting to do. Look at every no as a learning opportunity. It’s just interview practice for the job you want. You all looked like you had fun at the bounce house, breakfast (I liked Anna’s the best), and walk around Petersburg. Dave cracks me up, he acts like my kids and cats. They do everything they can to get attention or annoy me while I’m on the phone. If I ever make it to England, I hope I can meet you all.

It's so difficult to keep up when stock-piling goes on! Even if you don't agree with it, it forces you to go out and do it yourself anyway, and the problem just gets worse and worse! My sympathies lie with people who cant afford to spend so much on what they need, or people like you who need certain things in order to not cause any problems. I hope everything goes well for you!

please don't get discouraged Anna! im also job hunting for the first time (kinda.. I had a job but they closed after i worked there a month and a half -.-) and it sucks sm, but you just gotta accept that its usually nothing personal. lack of experience is such a hard obstacle to get over. also, im so proud of andy! I cant believe hes growing up so fast. and im really glad the school added sainbury's. hes always buzzing on the days after they go places and its just so nice to see him happy

i've just come to the end of 4 months of gruelling job hunting. Some disappointments along the way but a job I applied for in November hired someone else and they made a mistake and called me about 2 weeks ago. They said they chose the wrong person and wanted me instead!! I just started my second week there (its my day off today). All that disappointment and rejection led to being hand-picked in the end and feeling on top of the world. You never know what's around the corner! Keep going Anna!

Don't panic about it. It will die down and trust me it will. There is no need to panic just wash your hands for 20 secs and dont have no contact with no one if you got it. Im autistic and i never worry about things and i travel anywhere. Just dont panic the virus is just like a cold

I'm sorry that Anna didn't get the job! I know the feeling and it sucks. Definitely drops the confidence down a little. I'm sure she'll get one soon and it will be the perfect fit! I studied Criminal Justice, but I'm aiming to work with juveniles doing case management, etc. So, I'm in school for social work currently. I couldn't do both degrees at the same time. I'm hoping that CAMS gets a move on and does what they need to do for Andy at school. Andy seems to REALLY like the food bank! Have you guys worked out a time for him to go to that chocolate factory that employs individuals with ASD?

I have severe generalized anxiety together with asd and other issues and I used to get very overwhelmed by the end of the school day (I’m in college). Usually would get home feeling unsettled, until I had my medication adjusted. I love the vlogs and Andy has made so much progress since you started the vlogs, been watching since the beginning. Kev.. as a qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor i could not be happier that you are going to start calorie counting, as this is the only variable that matters when trying to achieve fat loss. Obviously i haven't seen the WW/slimming world video, however i can tell you why fads like these are the wrong approach.. they are great for initial results and give you a sense of achievement. The problem being when you achieve your target and come off the plan, you still have no idea about nutrition/food content..you only know red and green or points..this is why the majority of WW/Slimming World clients rebound and put the weight back on, and then guess what they sign up again. Let's not forget they are a business and need regular customers to generate revenue.. If you would like any advice regarding calories/tips or general questions i'd be more than happy to help you out. Feel free to drop me an inbox if you have any questions, because I am well aware how complicated this process can seem, when in reality it is so simple. Best of luck either way!
