Sir, at 50:53, why section 160 must be followed since , Additional director is appointed by passing a board resolution and not in general meeting ? Sir, he doesn't required prior notice of 14days or deposit?

Here 160 must be followed to apt him as regular director & continue to held office ( bcoz he has to vacate in AGM since he was apt as additional director by BOD)

Director died n BOD appointed another director to fill up vacancy. He is suppose to hold office upto the date origin director was suppose to hold office. Appointment of another director was approved by company at general meeting. So this would be treated as new appointment or fill up of casual vacancy. Because if 2nd director also died then whether it would be treated as casual vacancy or not??

No casual vacancy means vacancy of director appointed in general meeting in case of death of a director appointed in casual vacancy it's not called as filling casual vacancy in such a case BOD Appoints additional director in place of 2nd died director.

In 164(2), if director is disqualified-- can he be reappointed in defaulting co. after 5 years? The wording is kind of vague if disqualification for defaulting co. is permanent or for 5 years (like 5 years for other than defaulting co's)
