regarding that 'getting off work' one.. that is so true~!!!! :( it is like we Koreans have some strange way of thinking that getting off earlier than the older or senior person is not respectful even not loyal to company... As a result, it ends up with decreasing labor productivity rate real-time which magnificently affects the quality of life and company's outcome. btw I just got to know Chinese and korean have a bad habit in common. 'drink whenever it is happy or desperate' hahaha yep that is exactly what I do for my fella to give some power to overcome

In fact, earlier are almost the same, China, Japan and South Korea are deeply influenced by Confucianism. Because of the extreme backwardness of modern China, many literati almost completely deny and sneer at traditional culture. The Cultural Revolution of the CPC is one of the representatives.

I knew a Chinese girl who a South Korean man wanted to marry. Her family refused because the life of a Korean wife has too much housework. They thought she would be miserable. But the guy rented an apartment near her family home and kept coming over to visit her parents for a year. They were impressed by his sincerity and let them marry.

I am Chinese and I react exactly the same as the mainland actors. I am perfectly fine with my own culture and mannerisms not too strict but at the same time not rude. For me, Korean culture is too conservative and as a younger generation, I would live in tremendous stress if. I am Korean.
This is the most accurate representation thing I've ever seen omg. I'm Korean and we really do have habits of feeling like elders are the ones who somehow make our decisions on a way and the age thing is DEFINITELY accurate. I could go on a whole rant about what politeness is like in Chinese culture, not hating but sometimes chinese boys can be rudely blunt
@kumotakagami92284 жыл бұрын
It quite depends on the economic development of a area. Normally, the poorer an area natives will be more rude. However, if this place remains some Confucius culture, the people will be more polite than people in other areas of the same level.
@kumotakagami92284 жыл бұрын
But you know the "culture revolution" initiated by Chinese communist Party has destroyed Confucius culture in many places. Really sad
Chinese culture looks more similar to Japanese one! Maybe because I’m a Kansaijin?? But also I could find some same things from Korea. Interesting!

@@Sinzjsis I don’t know because we had closed our border for a long time. During that time, we created our own culture. Also, we got influenced by America after the WW2. I think Korea also has influence from America too. I’m not sure if we can say our culture is the same as ancient China.
@@Sinzjsis I see! I’m sorry but I actually don’t know much about ancient Chinese culture. There were much more ethnic groups when Chinese elites came to Japan during 唐 and 随 dynasties, weren’t they? We had relationship with ancient China only those times. Elites from ancient China taught us Confucius , Buddhism, architecture, literature and so on. Many young generations sadly are not interested in Confucius and Buddhism anymore. Considering that too, I am not confident enough to say aloud that modern Japanese culture is the same as ancient Chinese culture. It must be really nice if the analysis is available! But about the last sentence you made, I can disagree. Countries in East Asia share a lot of similarities! We think similarly. We love karaoke. We love Asian food. We don’t stick chopsticks into rice in a bowl. We care about parents. Parents insist that we must get married asap. We are very calm and patient under pressure. We are good at hiding our temper. Yes. We, at least Japan, got a lot of influence from western culture from clothing to food, but it could not change how we think. I often struggle when I talk to western people at work, and I always realize how fortunate I am Asian!
I'm chinese and the first thing is so true. In a summer camp I meet some girls and I was just older than them for 1 to 3 years old. And they were joking about me being a grandma or something like this. It was so annoying. I'm just 15,15 please. 😭😭😭 There were also a Chinese girl that was studying in Korea, and she was the same as the other girls. Even if it was joking, it was a little bit mean.
Hahaha that got me. I never ever washed dishes in my whole life before I got married. My wife is Chinese. Anyway, after I got married for years, I became a professional house cleaner and a great cook. Being a husband and father only my side job, my main job is house assistant. Oh boy...
