Thanks. It was nice too see a film with gay men depicted as masculine men, as opposed to the stereotypical feminine queens that society likes to label how all gay men are. The stigma makes absolutely no sense, how people like to categorize, and put everybody into a box, and label it, without thinking that every gay man does not act the same. So it was nice to see two men who happened to be gay, hang out and chill, without all the extra. Good video.

I hear you, but there are so.. SO many gay-themed movies without this "stereotypical feminine queen" trope you seem traumatized by. Please find them.

I agree with you.....but there are good films that do show that we are not all the same. But truth be told often we reject people in our own family because they are different. I used to struggle with being around fems and the typical Hollywood stereotypes of the flamboyant gays and only had masculine friends but I have learned to accept all my brothers and sisters and love them just as they are and I have become a better person. I require you be honest and real with me the rest is not so important anymore. Good friends are a blessing and very hard to find.

@@wonpilspiano it's the taking offense for no reason and the projection for me... He made points. Just because he didn't say it the way YOU wanted doesn't make his statements any less true. There's not enough balance in representation in the gay community. These fem stereotypes don't help when they're many times the only representation in mainstream media. You have to me looking for some KZbin series or something to find that balance, trust me I know, I've watched the seminal gay TV shows and movies, and a lot of the more masc representation is not easily available, or they don't exist, especially for Caribbean gays like myself. Not everyone has access to Netflix and Amazon and ask all these other services to find the representation they need. And what's wrong in pointing out the 'extra'? Did he lie though? 🤨 And who said he was traumatised? Ok psych major, goofy 🙄😑✋🏾

I like the HIV story line. People think it's easy to disclose your status at the beginning of a relationship or friendship. When one disclose their status that individual has to be ready to accept whatever outcome after disclosing. This hit home for me because I wasn't quite prepared on how to handle the outcome of his disclosure. Looking bad I really feel bad how I handle that situation. People we must educate ourselves when it comes to HIV/AIDS. Everyone deserves to feel loved wanted and needed regardless of their status.

Being an openly black gay man since I was 6 years old......this hit different. I’ve had so many gay friends....gay best friends pass away. We were supposed to grow old together.....now it seems I’m starting all over again.....got to get up. Wow they all smile down on me.

This has me in tears. Some of us struggle to come to terms with our sexuality due to society's "norm"....I myself am always concerned about what people think of me. I hope one day before I die, I will stop living for others so I won't die alone with no one loving me because of me not loving myself enough to live my truth. . .

@Ashley Campbell.... You're right.. The two main characters are very realistic and the situations in this story are very relatable. These are just two average guys dealing with real stuff.. Not the overfeminized, overdramatic and unrealistic stereotypical characters that you typically see in gay shows and films.

They were so cute together on the bench 😭 It’s difficult being gay and black. My brother is gay in a country where it’s considered a skin. It took him lots of courage to tell me and he was crying when he said it. I said, ok, you’re grown, same rules still apply, as long as the person who loves and respects you, if they break your heart, I will break them 🤣 he feels a bit better he told me. Now, he just needs to say it to our younger brother. I told him sooner rather than later 😔

Big lesson here on not treating anyone differently because they have HIV. Jordan was such a sweet guy! It was heartbreaking he committed suicide. For such a short film, there was a lot of heart put into this and it was really touching. I saw where the story was going from a mile away though. As soon as "clinic" was mentioned at the park, I knew Jordan had HIV and I had a good feeling Jamal wouldn't be able to initially accept it.

I thought it was ok. I like to see some films on some professional black guys meet up and fall in love. The challenges of a work schedule and making time for a relationship. I like to see more romantic involvement not just cheap frills. Than I want to see these give up their careers to start a business together so they can build a forever castle with each other. I want to see them get married. The reason why I feel this kind of story-line would be good, because it shows that Black men are more than typical black men you see in the streets. That they are very accomplish, well manner and dress well. I want to see Black Men sitting at a desk and handling their business. We don't have to have real drama in their lives, because these guys are smart enough to void this type of behavior. So the biggest challenge is TIME, but once they jump through that hurdle, I was to see them build their blocks together. To make it a little interesting. You can add the challenges of being a Black Men in corporate America and how difficult it is to manage a relationship. And added bonus would be dealing with homophobia and how their love can over-come this obstacle. And it doesn't matter what society thinks, because two Black Men loving each other is more important than anything. These brothers should be masculine and speak very well. The audience should also look into their upbringing and what kind of relationship they have with their families. So I want to see family gatherings in this web series, not just friends. Why can't this be done? The power is in our hands to create these kind of stories, but we continue to project the same ole things that "we" think society feels comfortable with. Why can't we be professional tailored black men? Why can't we have professional careers on screen? Lets show society that we have grow up. We are not boys anymore. We are men. We now know how to handle responsibility. We don't have to have fancy cars or mansions, just a regular house and car. Because I'm not trying to glorify material things. I just want to project positiveness about Black men. Does that make sense to you?

I agree on the idea of professional black guys falling in love, that's a dope concept.

@Giovanni Myers culture comes in when you say black white collar workers of LGBT community should come out to the public..of which you also know that's impossible because as Black people there's the way community views agay human... Hope you now understand.

Wow. Now this is worth watching. Whoever came up with this had an idea. I wish they had kept going with it. My heart broke @ the end when the guy died. 💔. I kno this all to well because I been in that situation before. So I kno how it feels to have that guilt on your conscience. 😢.

Time Frame: 1984 Rutgers University ROTC I went to Manny's Den in New Brunswick, New Jersey 💜❤️💜! Met this gorgeous man! Turns out he was in the US AIR FORCE, me in the US ARMY! So Beautiful ❤️💜❤️ was he! We shared everything except his being HIV+, even now as I write these comments, tears of sadness roll down my cheeks! He could NEVER EVER TELL ME THE TRUTH! I just can't imagine his guilt, pain, & shame! Anguish, Shame Embarrassment, & Pain, transcends all Cultures, Ethnicities, Educational Levels, Religious Beliefs, & Sexual Orientations! Reminds of the song originally sung by ETHEL WATERS! STORMY WEATHER! Awesome Gay Short Movie 🎥!

I am so, so lost with this gay/lesbian lifestyle! One minute I'm gay, the next minute I'm straight have I been pretending to be gay for all these years now ? Have I been living a lie pretending to be something I am not to make others happy. At my age 58 I don't know who I am or what I am . I swear I don't know.
