For anyone curious - @0:49 - In that cutout space (with the oblong potted area between the thumbs) is the chip part of the key. Without that chip being close to the ignition, the car will only crank but not start. Our 2008 Lexus is the same way, but it takes the '2016' sized battery.

I bought that Honda this past summer for my son to have through college. I paid $6K for it. It had 50,000 original miles on it. Bought it from a friend. It had about $1800 worth of issues that I had to fix due to it sitting for several years, but still ended up with a good deal and great car. As long as it gets him through college, we're good!
