I've heard that if you put a couple of layers of clear gesso on glossy stickers, it will take off the shine.

Hi! The Antiquarian Sticker Book has borders (backgrounds, really) which differ by page. They are mostly pastel -- cream, pink, light green, light blue, etc. The Paper House Seasonal Sticker Book has white borders on most of the designs. Hope this helps!

I have had this book for several years and I do have to say that these stickers don’t stay stuck.

For me it really depends on the paper. I’ve had no issues within my notebooks and inserts. The only time I’ve had a sticker pop up is on a coated journal cover. It sure didn’t like sticking to that!
