It's hard for him to get over her, like for many guys. He knows he shouldn't be treated this way and he knows her behavior is unacceptable. His love for her is just blurring his judgement. I can't speak much from experience, but I really think it would be best if they sat down and talked about it. I think some of you are missing the point. The whole idea is that this guy is in the situation he is in because he clearly lacks self-respect. I really listened to what Elliot had to say and I think I could gain a lot from it. It was good illumination on a complicated subject. However, I would add something. I feel like it is fine that this young lady explored another relationship, and it is fine her boyfriend accepts that, but the fact that she wants them to be together in a photo does not bode well for the relationship, in my opinion. If she knows he is offended by the thought of being in a photo with this other guy, and she wants it to happen, then I would seriously consider whether she cares for the original bf as a person. You say so many things that even this guy more than generation older can learn from. I watched America's Talent the other night. I'm not into TV but I could see you doing something there. Now as a teacher most of my life, I realize that to capture your audience especially young men, drama helps.
