According to Krishnamurti, thinking is from memories and its limited. Memories block perception of the truth by triggering the thinking process. Then by that logic Alzheimer patients in their last stages should be closes to the truth since they have no memories. Or ami I not reasoning properly. I am genuinely curious. Don't mean to trivialize him. I follow his teachings.

this confusion comes from the confusion when we think the " I " (self which is thought which is memory) will become enlighten or will experience truth... but truth is not personal.. you can say when " I " is not Truth is. Forgive me , if I made some mistake in explaining.

Please, when you are stuck, once recheck that " I " is not trying make " I " enlightened. In personal journey for truth I found,and still find, that many time when I was clueless and later realised this was the mistake every next time in more subtle and hidden form.
