That’s some heavy content. As dated as it is it’s more current than people realize. Just as he said “The transition will go unnoticed.” Like a frog in a pot of water, slowly but “Progressively” it cooks to its death. Living in the Los Angeles area I’ve witnessed the slow but steady progression in the direction of moral decay and government involvement he speaks of. The mass exodus from California speaks for itself. This was very interesting. Certainly food for thought.

I know what you speak of friend. Between my first and last visit to Cali (almost entire State) the changes that occurred during those 25 years are almost shocking. I’m sure living there you kind of get pre-conditioned to it over the years but yeah, I am sure you notice this decline. Probably better than someone like myself. Personally, I used to love visiting Cali but at this point I’m not really looking forward to it. And what Alexadrovich speaks of is kind of taking place over the last couple of decades. Probably earlier than that but last 20-30 years really made it more apparent. And it won’t get better IMHO. In fact, it will get a whole lot worst. Not in our lifetime but our children will certainly experience some of it.

@@GrooverskiThe funny thing is that he's talking about marxist subversion, but the Kremlin has almost exclusively been fuling the 100 year long right wing culture war for the past several years. Nearly everything he says here can be directly applied to the modern American right wing, ideology be damned. 5:20

@@hurkamur1 Bible can be interpreted hundred different ways as well. We see what we want to see. And we can certainly fit the (almost any) narrative when & where we feel it will help our cause. I feel that it is important to step back, look at the matter at hand objectively and most importantly, independent from any influences that can corrupt our ability to process the information freely and rationally. I am not a right winger or a leftie. I do try to stay clear from political tribalism as well. If that was the case, my opinions and thought process would have been compromised by polluted well. And that’s always dangerous. No matter what side you think you are cheering for and support. But I know one thing for certain. If you can be persuaded to vote certain way by words coming from politicians’ mouth, it’s a job well done by those who never live up to their promises. And let’s face it. Most of the population is intellectually lazy and easier to manipulate than a child.

Hi Mariusz. Hope you are having great week. I’m afraid we see this a bit differently. Although, maybe not as much as you might think. The basic argument that there is an attempt to put the world under the boot of a single economic system through propaganda, I agree with completely. Only I turn the corner here, it’s not the Soviet we should fear. There is a more sinister political agenda imho. Neoliberal-capitalism. There is a kind of inverted totalitarianism happening through corporate governance. The corporation buy the state and rules through their state proxy. I’m sure you’re familiar with this argument. But I love that you make this a topic. I have actually seen this segment you posted previously. I’m very familiar with the general concept. Hey…One day I will buy you a beer and we can share our thoughts. I’d like that. Besides music, politics/philosophy is a huge passion for me. I make my thre boys crazy with this stuff. Lol. But discussing, debating and thinking about these issues is so important. I never learn anything without sharing ideas between men of goodwill. Anyway, it gives me a chance to say hello. I appreciate you getting me thinking about these questions. Be well. Shawn

Believe it or not but I sympathize with your views but agree to large degree with you. Gov is paid for and manipulated by corporations to obscene proportions. Something that Hoover warned us about in the 60’s. Except it is way beyond just the MIC now. I believe that system of democracy borrowed from the Greeks is still the best system of governance that ensures longevity and certain sense of justice for all. Well, we know that ‘all’ isn’t and never will be the case but close enough. Unfortunately power corrupts the best of men and that’s a give. A flaw of the humanity and almost unavoidable condition. Hunger for power and greed. No ‘system’ or gov structure is immune to it. Thats a fact. My stand on socialism or communism is based on personal experiences and not on academic, theories or hopeful ideology. Nope. I’ve been there, I’ve seen it, I’ve experience it first hand. Perhaps that’s why I’m a little shocked when young ppl crave for something that they have no idea about. I know where you coming from and I know what kind of World you would like to see. I think most of us feel the same way. I just don’t have a faith in any big brother gov body that wants to dictate and control every aspect of our lives. Doesn’t matter what it is and what system they like to call it. It really doesn’t matter. Bc your freedoms diminish with growth of government. And that’s a scary thought. And no I’m not defending direction this country is going, neither do I defend what this country has done in the past. But it is home, and we should try to make it better. Instead, people fight over the silliest things, irrelevant things, things that cause more division than unity. And more divide WE are, stronger ‘they’ get. Yes that beer would be nice just about now. lol 😉👍🏻🫶🏻

@@Grooverski I very much understand; it's more than a political excursive for you; it's a lived reality. Point well taken. And it difficult to fully appreciate unless we understand that reality. My grandparent came from Italy and Germany and would tell me all that they lived through. Mariusz, have you seen the film, The Lives of Others? Directed by Florian Henkel von Donnersmarck in 2006; it's about the East German Stasi in 1984. And the lengths to which the communist government went to spy on individuals. Very powerful film and highly recommended. Ultimately , I think we agree that authoritarianism is the death of mankind. Thank you for sharing. I will see you on Friday! Cheers. Shawn.

@the-vinyl-dreamscape5084 Thank You Shawn for understanding. To a degree of course but still. I don’t think we are different at all. At least two of us. We see wrongs and wish it wasn’t that way. We generally want the same thing. As to parties and being on the left or right well, yes there are differences in approach and certain issues. But those are still ideologies that only benefit those who seek tribal devotion from their voting block and selling point for the campaigns. No sane person could be a 100 percent with BS that either party is selling. What’s worst, both are more or less the same. More issues, more division yet still more of the same. Nuances that occupy ppl mind these days are beyond silly. People care about things these days that have absolutely no impact on their lives yet, it breaks up the fabric of the unity as ‘the people’ while dividing that same great power of unity into fragile, irrelevant pieces. A welcomed proposition to any body of power. It’s not a new concept. Divided nations are easier to conquer and the same can be said about people. Strategy of Alexander the Great while conquering India or at least attempt to conquer that territory. It’s only when six competing tribes united, Alexander’s plan went sideways. And the plan was, divide, weaken and conquer. The moral of it is, people shouldn’t look an enemy among each other, your neighbor or someone who seems different on the surface but direct that anger and energy at real cancer. And I think we both know what that cancer is. As to the film no, I’ve not seen it but I am well aware of Stasi surveillance program ( biggest in the World. Bigger than KGB in fact) and bamboozled nation of spies within your own family and friends. That’s what total control looks like. And to be honest, we are not far from it these days. Let’s call it Stasi light. Non intrusive, passive but always watching.

@@Grooverski You hit the nail on the head. The whole left - right paradigm forces people to choice a side. So instead of building bridges to our neighbors, we are fighting with them. This is an alliance that elites fear the most; a left-right populism with workers and small businesses coming together to confront those getting benefiting from the decline of our society. I've seen a huge decline in the quality of life in America. Fewer and fewer people who own a home. When I was younger, we never saw homeless families in middle-class communities begging for money. A few days ago a pretty women who was shopping in my local grocery store kept smiling at me. Which seemed very strange. When I went to check-out she hurried to me and asked if I would buy the items she had in her cart; milk, flour, sugar, chicken broth...very humble items. After checking out we walked outside together and she told me she had two kids. The point of this is, something has happened to the country. I appreciate the conversation. Thank you. I know you are sincere in your belief and I respect that vey much. Shawn.
