Khamzat Chimaev - The Wolf is Back

Khamzat Chimaev (born May 1, 1994), is a Russian-born Swedish professional mixed martial artist and freestyle wrestler who competes in the welterweight and middleweight divisions of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He formerly competed in Brave Combat Federation (Brave CF). In wrestling, Chimaev is a three-time Swedish National champion. As of November 2, 2021, he is #10 in the UFC welterweight rankings.
Chimaev was scheduled to face Leon Edwards in the main event of UFC Fight Night 183 on December 19, 2020. In between, Chimaev was added to the UFC welterweight rankings, entering at #15.
On March 1, 2021, he announced on Instagram that he was retiring from the sport. Dana White later came out and said Chimaev was not retired and was just emotional.
Chimaev faced Li Jingliang on October 30, 2021 at UFC 267. He won the bout via rear-naked choke submission in round one. This win earned him his fourth straight Performance of the Night award.

I don't know what it is about Chimaev - whether its the raw talent, personality, desire to smesh everything in his way - but there is something undeniably special about this man. His run in the UFC so far is the most dominant I have ever seen. I'm not sure how his career will ultimately play out but I recognize talent when I see it and I can't wait to see what he delivers.
