The quiet subtle moments are good, then unfortunately loud sections become exaggerated and overblown given the style of writing. The same goes for the duet.

Il y a un problème d'accord de certaines cordes en effet mais le piano n'est pas entièrement désaccordé... Très étrange. Khatia n'a pas dû avoir le choix. Je lui conseille de voyager avec son propre piano, comme Horowitz le faisait en son temps, mais ce serait s'exposer à des comparaisons qu'elle ne pourrait pas soutenir... et puis je crois l'avoir entendue dire qu'elle n'était pas difficile sur ce point et qu'elle trouvait des qualités à chaque piano. Je me demande ce qu'elle a pu trouver à celui-ci... sans doute le mérite d'être là.
