Wow! What a fantastic sharing of your accomplishment. All of those things you were projecting on the appreciation you found for others are just a look into how hard you worked on your story. You should be proud of that accomplishment and the emotions you shared in your video were so very heart warming to me. After writing two books (just first drafts, mind you) I’m blown away by completed books on a shelf because I know it took so much to get them there. I just found you from this video, but now I’m following and plan to order your book when it’s released 😊💕

I hope you have success in getting your book out there and sales-- I have written a book too, long narrative poems, and I am waiting to hear back from some traditional publishers, but if it doesn't work out I will also pursue the self publishing route, my main fear however would be it would end up on Amazon getting no sales. Best of luck with yours!

Wow - That is great to hear! Greetings Kate and congratulations on writing your first book. I too am excited and anxious - as I just finished the first draft of my first novel - a teen drama, a little over a month ago. I'm currently in the re-writing stage of my second draft and it's going slow. I wish, I was better at grammar and English, but I have already create a website for the book. Thank You for sharing - It sounds like you are a little ahead of me in book publishing - so please keep sharing your journey as an author.

Hi Kate, Congratulations! I started my novel in December 2017, and my process has changed so many times in these 7 years. I hope to have it finished by the end of the year... (but then again, why do I put such pressure on myself, if I'm in for the long haul, as it has already been?) I had a "puzzle draft zero last year and printed Act 1. Act 2B needs time... Back to coloured index cards to sort out order of the many POV's in the introduction. It is a series too, so a lot of time spent with choices, questions, research and holes and puzzle pieces. I hope people love your new baby as much as you do, and if they don't, then so be it! You look relieved. Are you getting into something else or having a break? Kate Cavanagh, KZbinr is doing 100,000 word challenge in 3 months, with September 2024 as a prep month, so I may join her and others to get through the fear and finish this thing...Will you be joining us too? I feel so close but also so far on mine. It’s four books but I know it’s not quite there but it’s so damn close. Such an exciting time. Paid off you and excited for you to start getting your fan base for your story
