Someone might’ve said this already, but it might not be a Cockatrice that Fuecoco evolves into, but maybe an Aitvaras. It’s a rooster that’s said to have a tail like a meteor, and can have the appearance of a dragon when outside. So there’s both some reptilian aspects and chicken/rooster aspects that could be combined into Fuecoco’s final evo that tie into that “chicken” theme. I doubt it, but hey, just throwing that out there lol.

I think the riddle is mainly hinting at the idea that Fuecoco will have wings but it won't be able to fly correctly (a problem that chickens have) . Similar to that concept art that was leaked earlier where it's wings were larger than it's body.

Exactly what I was thinking! Regional forms usually have explanations to why the original forms evolved over time to become them- I think “Regional fakes” are the ORIGINAL ORIGINAL forms than what we already have and Sudowoodo is a perfect example! This version of Sudowoodo will be the ‘real woodo’ tree Grass type , and other RF’s will be the prior form of existing Pokémon and the “normal forms” we know are actually regional forms in of themselves. FINALLY! anime (and real life maybe) accurate gym progression! have you noticed in the anime when ash fought brock and brock asked if he had any badge and then ash said none? he personally picked the "weaker" mons to battle ash so that he stands a chance on his first gym. so, my thought is that, gyms in s/v might do this to and have the leaders battle you based on your badge count (so any order WILL DEFINITELY work no matter where you start and next. just the levelling gap stuff will go on for challenge)

I think the Sudowoodo clue is just a hint that there'll be more mons that will look like a completely different type than what they are. They'll all be fakes of that type. This will make the game more challenging and difficult than previous titles because well be thrown off by our natural instinct to type pokemon by what they look like.

My thought was similar, that they might make more pokemon that impersonate objects or items. Hence, being "fake" things just as sudowoodo is a "fake" tree or eletrode and voltorb (or even foongus for that matter) are "fake" pokeballs simply because they fool you into thinking that's what they are by resembling them

The idea that Fuecoco evolves into a feathered crocodile is not so crazy, since crocodiles are the closest reptiles to birds, they even have recessive genes for feathers. I guess Gamefreak wants to do something similar to Decidueye by being inspired by an extinct animal and thus giving it the ghost type

Certain spinosaurids, such as Baryonyx, lived in what is now Iberia so that makes sense. Although, crocodilians and dinosaurs split during the Triassic, so they could also go for extinct crocodilians such as Sarcosuchus.

Fuecoco is evolving into a Quetzalcoatl type of thing. according to the 17th century historian descendant of Aztec royalty, Ixtlilxóchitl, Quetzalcoatl in literal sense means "serpent of precious feather", but in the allegorical sense "wisest of men". the first bit is in reference to Khu's image showing a rooster and a crocodile. crocodiles and serpents are both reptiles and a rooster has wings and feathers. the second bit could be a snapback to the foolish crocodile name thing that has been registered for Fuecoco. i could be wrong tho

I feel like that dog riddle could mean a regional variant or possible pre/evolution for Furfrou. Only dog mon in gen 6, pee could be the main color of the RF, 108 could be it's number in the new dex, the splitting bread could mean that it gets all new designs, I'm not sure how to connect "cell" tho, maybe it's more of a dark outlaw and it's designs are more rebellious or 'evil'

The dog in that bread meme is a corgi; and in 8th Gen we got a corgi Pokémon: Yamper. Yamper’s designation in the Pokédex is the “puppy pokemon”. Now think back to Khu’s Sudowoodo type poll. The treasure chest might just flat out be saying Zygarde at this point. Gen 6 is when Zygarde was introduced, Gen 7 we had to collect the Zygarde cells, the 108 wisps were a collectathon very much akin to that. 10% Zygarde is a dog that is split into pieces, like the bread-dog that Khu has posted probably in relation to that. -Khu has made jokes about dogs peeing like every 2nd riddle of his, that's the only association I could see there-

Wait, I have an idea: It has to do with "key: pee". "pee" written in the International Phonetic Alphabet is /pi/ Pi is a Greek letter, used in geometry and is used in calculations involving circles. The alternate unit for measuring angles, radians, is based on Pi where 2*pi = 360 degrees. There were certain medieval coins called "long cross pennies" which were pennies that had the cross pattern on the back extend to the edges. The point of it was that if you wanted half or even quarter pennies, you would take a pair of shears and cut along the cross pattern. Oftentimes these half and quarter coins would make holes into people's pouches because of the sharp corners and then fall out. (I never expected that an hour long coin video I watched once would come in handy) If you cut a circle in half, then the circular part has an angle measure of Pi radians. What if the solution is that to reassemble the objectmon, you have to collect old coins that had been cut in halves and/or quarters?

I think i found the typing the starters will have Grass Fairy,Fire Dragon,Water Ice. The key is its strong against Dragon types a sort of Foreshadowing perhaps.Also the Pokedex and Appearances makes sense Sprigatito is an Attention seeker hence Fairy type.Quaxly Has hair possibly made by water which when it evolves it becomes a Super Saiyan Hence ice.Fuecoco Khu teasers a Chicken potentially BEING a Cockatrese hence the dragon typing.

I think the sliced dog and key riddle means that the Pokemon is divided into 6 parts (the sliced doggo) and we have to "collect" all 6 parts to get the Pokemon (like a megazord). This is hinted by the 1st image where each "key" is subtitled with with a collection side quest from previous generations (108- spiritomb wisps, cell- zygarde cells, pee- probably refering to diglett, gen6- not really sure but megastones??). It's also possible that all of these 6 parts are individual Pokemon as well. But hey, it's just a theory.. A GaMe theory

What if Fuecoco is like Girafarig- One part becomes a Snake (the other head becomes a rooster) Fuecoco could be a Baskalisk/Cockatrice hybrid with one of the heads luring innocent food so the other consumes it. One head could be death looking, the fake one looks alive. (Nods to either Hispanis, Spanish, Portugese Myth) And thus, would still fit the Zodiac theory (being one head as part Snake)

I think Riddler found out that the regional form of Sudowoodo was going to be in the new trailer coming out so made a leak just to give people more proof he knows what's going on in there. My hunch is that Sudowoodo is getting a regional form like Mr. Mime did (bonsly will stay the same) and then get a new evolution like Mr. Rime to keep them as proper counterpart pokemon. I'm unsure if they''ll make him Rock/Grass type and make him look more like a tree, or if they'll make him pure grass type and make him look like a rock.

Khu is Masuda actually. Makes sense when you think about it. Khu said that he is retiring from Pokemon after this gen just like Masuda said that he is retiring from Pokemon after this gen.
