It’s refreshing to see someone speak about this. Our prophet used to pray for people and give gentle advice, never slander them. Making hour long videos just so you can get views and clout. There’s no ‘husn Al dhun’, it’s just picking clips out of context and ignoring all the good they’ve done in their life. It’s such a shame that some Muslims do this today instead of utilizing their position for something better. If one exposes people and thinks badly of them, Allah will do the same to them on the day of judgement so we should focus on ourselves and not others faults.

Now this is indeed stunning and brave 😁 may Allah preserve the Shaykh. The “live and let live” strategy of some Muslim leaders have proven to be naive and wrong (with the benefit of hindsight), as our liberal “allies” have proven themselves to be just as tyrannical and destructive as the conservative Islamophobes, albeit in different ways. As a pragmatist, Sheikh Yasir should have seen the writing on the wall long ago and addressed the insidious cancers that are threatening to destroy our communities from the inside. Better late than never!

Jazakumullahu khairan. Knowing the problem is fundamental. However, we also need to realise that we won't be able to change the system: secularism can't accommodate Islam, but Islam can accommodate non-Muslims. We must carry on opposing all the wrongs (in the East and the West) and call for the implementation of Islam (in our Muslim lands). That's what will protect our identity and bring guidance to mankind InshaAllah.

I know a family in this position, in the end after hospitalizations & medications; they have accepted that they would rather have a living son than a dead daughter. Many of these children feel they cannot live in the body they were born into, and therefore, to save their lives, their loving parents accept them as they want to be seen. Many of these children start showing tendency at young ages, I believe if society accepts them from the beginning, these children wouldn't want to change their bodies to fit in. God created us all.
