The parcel shelf helps to prevent items in the boot from coming into the cabin and hitting people in the head during a crash. Its best to leave it in place.

the roof in the back is too low due to that starwindow. the standard roof doesn't have this issue.

The rear seat space for legs is quite misleading in videos. I was testing Ceed SW with automatic gearbox, where you can sit a bit further back compared to a manual one, and I had at least 10 cm of space sitting behind myself, and I am 175 cm. The 1.4 T-GDi is quite sweet especially combined with the automatic 7 speed gearbox. It is silent, and it does not downshift unnecessarily when you accelerate.

The 1.4 turbo 0-60 is actually 8.6s with 138bph, I have 1.4 turbo sportwagon, really nice car loads of extras only negative a quite notchy gearbox , we also have a 2017 Cee'd which has a better gearbox than than the new Ceed, don't know why Kia felt the need to change the gearbox.

How tf you do not have leg room when literally EVERY OTHER REVIEW praises the big room in the back? You had the front seat at its maximum position. I have a Ceed 3 myself and I have like 2 palms from knee to seat at its normal position. I am 175 cm high.
