Very straight forward video! Thank you for keeping it simple and to the point. My only suggestions would be: get a tarp from Harbor Freight to lay down on the ground to catch anything the drain pan misses, use a short 24mm socket (vs a deep well) and show/talk about the proper trans fluid to use (SP4-M) But, this is a really well done video!

I noticed you don't have the engine splash guard. Did you take it off or did it get broke? It seems much easier without that in the way

You need to know how hot your transmission is, 122-140 i believe is the temperature you check your fluid on these. If it gets to hot you'll drain to much fluid out. If your not going to ck it properly youd be better off putting in the exact same amount of fluid you took out (if you have no trans leaks)

@@freddyleon4423 dealers calls for it every 90k kilometers since i am tuned i do every 60k kilometers. Dont fall for the bs the manual says about it being lifetime lol.

You are welcome 😊 Lap3 well absolutely wake up these cars. i have the stage 1.5 Lap3 ecu tune with dual catch cans, intake, FMIC. Pretty much they are the important mods before at tune. you will also need colder spark plugs such as the HKS M45XL and switch oil to 5W40. FMIC is not that of a must but from my experience and also the age of the car when i tuned it my stock intercooler blew due to extra boost lol

Transmission oil should be changed every 90K kms and coolant flush should be done every 60k kms according to Kia. i am tunned with lap3 so i do my trans flush every 60k kms.

Since the engine is off what about the few quart of fluid left in the torque converter?

Thats the thing one will never be able to remove ALL of the old oil from the system by doing this flush. Even the dealer guys said there will be some residual oil still left and nothing we can do about it unless someone decides to disassemble the whole transmission for it which is really not practical.
