2011 Kia Soul 2.0 liter Part 2 of the cylinder head removal. This shows what happened to the cylinder head and why it lost compression. There will be one more video of the series coming next week as well. It will be the installed with parts and torque specs.

I’m glad you made this video. I have a misfire on cylinder 2 that I can’t seem to figure out. Ima bout to take the head off as well and take a look at my chambers

You could also find a borescope or buy a cheap one on Amazon for your phone and put it down the spark plug tube to investigate it without pulling the head as well.

I might be buyin a 2010 soul 2.0 L. How does the intake and exhaust ports line up to the manafolds? Is it worth it to do a gasket match?? I was thinking of runnin an air intake and catless exhaust.

I have never really paid any attention to how good they line up to be honest. It would depend on how bad they are off from each other to determine if it was worth it.
