What I love the most in these two is that they prove that a parent and a kid don’t need to have a typical life to be happy together, in most movies when a parent has some dangerous and violent past he/she wants to keep his/her kid safe out of it, but not Big Daddy, he not only didn’t hide his violent life from his daughter but he also made her become part of it, in the best way, he taught her how to fight, use weapons and even kill for ever since she was very little, and still he was a loving father and kept his girl happy, that’s what matters.
