My 'thumb up' was 666 and I gave it about 26 minutes, because this kick is straight from hell! Awesome!

Do you think you could start releasing your Ableton project files Sadowick? That would be great to examine those.

Excellent tips - as always; thank you! But what would you do next - once you've got your layered kick? I mean, programming-wise: paint kicks in Arrangement View? Make different loops in Session View and then string those together in Arrangement View? Use Drum Racks? Thanks again!

Hi, Great tutorial as usual. But why in some genres, like says Hardrock, where the kick is also very central, one kick often is enough and you can feel the presence. Can such power be achieved by proper leveling, mixing, eq, panning of other instruments and balancing .....etc?

So, for the second example you don't ajust the BPM in order to deal with phase issue..? because you split the frequencies of each kick ?
@marcellszabo855 жыл бұрын
thanks a lot buddy!

It would have been nice to have a phase switch inside the audio clip like the reverse switch. This way we would see the result on the waveform display.

ShadowickProduction, I just started diving in music production and I have a Boss RC-505 for recording my decent beatboxing sounds. Is there any trick, or standard hardware/software functionality to synchronize all my layered sounds (unlimited number)? Even though I've got the rhythm and creativity in my mind, I find it a bit difficult and some sounds kick in a millisecond before or after the other, which sounds really sloppy.
