I’m glad you guys like the crow imagery. You will be seeing that a lot in this series. And honestly, they use image metaphors really effectively

The setter is the hardest position and in my opinion the most important position in volleyball. The setter has to be able to quickly read the opponent's defense so that he knows where to attack, call the type of attack that they need, and know when to set the ball. The setter also needs to know his spikers very well, each player will always have their own preferred set. In every play the setter will almost always touch the ball.
@felipemedrado6307 Жыл бұрын
i know that has been like a year comment.....but i kind disagree with u, in my opinion the most important position in volley is the defense positions like nishinoya because with out hiim the hole play is moot, doesnt mater if the setter is awesome if the defense cannot conect

Hinata isn't being penalized by Kageyama into being a receiver, receiving is just a core part of volleyball that everyone needs to be competent at. Since all Hinata has practiced is spiking, all his fundamentals are at a really low level. He's able to make up for it with pure athleticism but he is very very raw in a technical sense.
@yuyu2463 жыл бұрын
Exactly, lol, Hinata literally has no skills in other techniques, so what Kageyama is doing is reasonable here. And Kageyama is a genius at the game, so ofc he's not satisfied just being on the court. Its really ur skill that determine whether you play or not.

Hinata does deserves the props for being as good as he is by only practicing in the hallways and corner of the gym, plus not having a club/team/coach to teach him everything like kageyama, cause you can’t better your serves and receives by practicing like Hinata did

I live how YT knows me at this point and automatically recommends me any new Haikyuu reactors. I can't wait to see your reaction as the story goes on. You might've heard Haikyuu is commonly referred to as Hypekyuu and for a good reason. So many good moments, happy, sad, hype, all the emotions on a rollercoaster. The storytelling is fantastic, character development even better and you can bet you'll soon cheer for every single team, not just for Karasuno. That's the power of Furudate sensei :D The thing is, Kageyama sees the potential in Hinata, he's pissed because Hinata doesn't do anything with that potential. That's kinda an ongoing theme in Haikyuu (in the animated parts at least). Hinata has an amazing natural physical ability and speed, but because he didn't have a team in middle school (like a proper team), his technique is practically non-existent. He just jumps and spikes. Kageyama knows he could be much better with what he has and is disappointed he isn't. That's why he said Hinata wasted 3 years. Also, I wouldn't call Kageyama a narcissist. He cares about the team, he wants them to be at their best, he just has a bad way of showing it because he's not a good communicator (you'll see that a lot as the story goes on) One last thing though, would you maybe consider watching this on Crunchyroll? I'm not sure where you are watching but it looks to me like Netflix subs which are overall really bad at translating and often the meaning gets lost in them. But that's up to you. I really enjoy your reactions so far, you have a great eye on details in storytelling, which is great. Keep it up :)

If you're a fan of the "resurrecting the spirit of the father", you NEED to watch One Piece. It's one of the biggest themes in the entire show and it's done, in my opinion, the best of any anime I've seen. I know you two did the OP reactions and I'm not sure if you ever planned on actually watching OP, but seeing the type of shows you two enjoy, I really think it would be one of them.
