Kageyama was being a prick but drilling the basics of receiving before doing spikes is the smart choice. In a 3v3 having one member not be able to receive would be a disaster as they would target him all game.

Kageyama isn't someone who says stuff with any underlying meanings. When he told hinata why he wasted his time for 3 years he meant it as in he was wasting his talent and he was techincally right. All Hinata ever did in middle school was spike balls in the hallways

I am in love with this show and hype that more reactors like you are picking it up !! :D Sidenote, I think it was a translation error with that "T-shirts, how lame" subtitle for Yamaguchi's line, the original is "T-shirts? So cold!" because it was night time and outdoors so it's cold playing in shirts, in contrast to inside the gym where he and Tsukishima just were practicing.

I like how you guys judge the characters.Like when Carson said that he's like 14 or something and you people do this in all other animes and not judge them as they're grown adults.This way of seeing characters makes you really understand the character's motives and even appreciate when any particular arrogant young character displays good behaviour. Like for examples,the way u guys used to judge sakura both in a critical manner and also understood that she was just a child unlike people who actually hated her like she's some terrorist or something. So,MASSIVE RESPECT to you guys for being open minded.

i've always found it interesting how much people love tsukki. i never really liked him, even when he had his character arc later on. he's objectively a good and complex character, but i just never really connected with him. maybe there's just room in my heart for one a-hole character per series, since i connected more with oikawa haha. my faves are kenma and kuro, akaashi, oikawa, kageyama, and suga. (i guess i prefer setters lmao....)

I noticed on the last 2 episodes as well , the subtitles are a bit off (more or less) 7:12 "T-shirts? How lame." I think it suppose to say "cold" like "it's too cold to be wearing only t-shirts"

The T shirt comment was because it was late at night and they'd be sweating, which would be pretty chilly. Japanese clubs tend to meet after school, and it's common for students to not head home until after 6 or 7.

Haikyuu has some of the best dialogues when the characters are making observations. Please try not to talk over them, like the Suga one for example here. Also you guys seem new to the sport volleyball, try not to disagree with any character not matter how much you dislike them when they speak of anything related to the sport. For example, Kageyama said Hinata is not supposed to recieve with his face. It's absolute facts, Hinata is a very very weak passer of the ball. There was no need to say "Stop hitting the ball at my face you fuck". I understand it because you don't know volleyball, but try to give the character the benefit of the doubt by realizing your knowledge is limited and listen to the character, no matter how douchy you consider him to be. Because a character like that will show up and most reactors deny anything he says because they don't like him, while he is one of the most knowledgeable players of the entire series. I don't want to see your reaction degrade into that category of reactors. I don't mean anything rude, English is not my first language so maybe I probably framed my words offensive. But it's truly just constructive feedback for future reactions.

Right when I was binge watching AoT, the pandemic happened. News of people dying around the world and watching AoT STRESSED me so much. It seemed like it was too much for me to handle. I chose to temporarily stop watching AoT and start Haikyuu and I felt like Haikyuu saved me. It's like a warm hug with all the things happening in the world. This is why I love Haikyuu soooo much! 💕 P.S. I'm watching AoT again. Lol

I hope you are in a better place now! AoT and haikyuu are two of my favorite shows, and I definitely agree haikyuu feels like a warm hug, while AoT is very somber. I don’t know how caught up you are, but AoT only gets more somber as it goes on. Actually maybe somber isn’t the right word. It’s despairing LOL. The writing of AoT is truly something else. Anyways, two very different shows, and both are really good!
