You know, when I was a child, my aunt, an incredible person who passed her love of books to me, read a book called Yargo, a science fiction romance. It was the first time I had contact with this particular mixture of genres, and I have a very dear memory of this book precisely because it was part of my process to become a reader. These days I read very few romances, but hey, The Book Gal may bring some good suggestions on the way!!! Congratulations, great news, I’m excited to see what’s coming!

I was really torn between backing for the paperbacks or for the hardcovers. Ended up going for the hardcovers because the cover design just feels like it would look so good on a dustjacket. Congratulations on the successful kickstarter. Excited to start reading them.

This was a lovely video. Congrats on a successful kickstarter. I was quite lucky for youtube to recommend me this channel right before the kickstarter, so I could still form my opinion about you and potentially order the books, which I then did. And by watching your bookcase and your videos, I've noticed that you basically read all the books that I've read. So I can probably trust you about my future reading needs. I am very excited to read your books. Hopefully the physical copies arrive soonish cause I'd prefer reading those than on a ebook reader, although I already have them on Kindle to try, just have to finish with the Korbal Broach and Beauchelain novellas from Malazan, which I wholeheartedly recommend, since you are thinking of diving back into the world of Malazan - if you like Ericson's humor, then these are chock full of it.

First off, congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you guys! Can’t wait to support this when I’m able to, I really want to read the series! 🎉 Also I’m obsessed with the serious in dept difficult subjects videos already! You’re aware of your own biases and give such levelheaded essays/essay like videos(as far as I’ve seen) can’t wait! And I’m certain they’re worth the wait. (Will you btw put out forms for lived in experiences to your audience?) And I was chanting ‘book gal book gal’ as Kit is talking about it! I’m on board for all the ideas and I’d say yes to discussing erotica. There’s such a stigma on erotica and romance I love that you guys want to talk about it from a different perspective. 🖤🌻 Also yes to a healthy life/work balance, please be kind to yourself. I don’t mind waiting for a great video, especially if someone is taking care of themselves. 🌻😊

A thought, maybe your «books can save the world» video did not amazing since Merphy napier and probably others have done similar videos before. 🎉🎉I loove Skulduggery pleasant and Robert degas🎉🎉 The alcatraz books Are amazing, only read the first two but loove them so much. Yess more book gal content!! If you have not read I recomend : Heroine complex by Sarah Kuhn, the love con by seressia glass, a hope dividend by Alyssa Cole. Even thought you Are great Michael, I am more on Kit with reading taste. I prefer urban fantasy to high fantasy. So weird to see you with short hair. Fyi, I think it would be fun to see you on «between two perns»

Also, fellow Star Trek fan, yay! Who're your favourite characters? If I had to pick my top 10: Jadzia, Garak, Sisko, O'Brien, Odo, Spock, Picard, Data, Tuvok, and 7 of 9. I haven't seen Lower Decks, since I can't get it where I live, but I'd like to see it sometime. Also also, a cat and a croissant, what more could you need? I love it. 🤣

I think my top characters are: Garak, Kira, Odo, Quark (he just DEFINED the entire Ferengi race and his interactions with Odo are priceless), Picard, Data, 7 of 9, Voyager's Doctor, Uhura, ... I'm tempted to include Gul Dukat because he is a FANTASTIC villain. Then basically everyone in Lower Decks. And all the other DS9 characters. Plus a special shout out to both Guinan and Lwaxana Troi... OK basically I love them all and am terrible at choosing hahaha
