You can tell that the spontaneity of the first video is no longer there. This young man is very aware that people are watching I wish that we could hear him like singing in the shower when he thinks no one may be listening he has grown up and with his growing up he has become very self-conscious the voice is still there he is just not belting it out like he did on that day please dear God close your eyes and pretend like you are alone still have it kid just don't be so scared

@@cantervillevon3199 it's not a matter of feeling it's a matter ot technique. He is not projecting his voice like he used to. He hasn't improved, he has gotten worse. He is still good though, but he could be much better, he had the pottential and provably still has it.

I think what happens is we get more inhibited as we grow older. We endure a few smack-downs, lose confidence, self-doubt creeps in, etc. I feel the younger performance is closer to the creative source. It can be really hard to let loose like that as an older man. Still, a great voice just the same and I would like to hear more. Bravo Brendan!

While that does work, there is also something to be said for this style. Each invokes a different emotion. Belting it out will have people bobbing their heads and rocking out along with it, but this tone create the feeling of on going work that the song is about. This pace is much more suitable to this particular song, because it makes you appreciate the last lines of... He said "I know just how hard you've been laborin'" Mm-hmm He said "I want you to sit down, rest a while"
