First of all, I have to say that you did a great job with this series, Chuggaa. I really enjoyed watching every episode of this game you uploaded, even so much so, that by chapter 13, the Lunar Sanctum, I decided to go buy a 3DS and a copy of Kid Icarus Uprising to play this game myself. And now it is my favorite game of this generation, even one of my most favorite games of all time. So, thanks Chuggaa, for introducing me to this wonderful game. ^^ Also, on a side note, as a couple (or many) other people seem to have said before me, I didn't get Palutena with my game, either. I got Pit, Medusa, Magnus and THREE weapons with my copy of the game. (The EZ Cannon, the First Blade and the Insight Staff)

It was AGONY getting all of the cards here in Canada, but me and five of my friends did the same thing you did and we all did a Smash tournament to see who kept them all (of course the people who lost kept the doubles). Also, one thing about this card collection that recently happened in addition of the release of Smash Ultimate. They did a countdown leading up to that game's release and on the 9th day, one of the countdown pictures was an image of Pit in his victory pose as seen in the game itself which is based on the scene after he finally defeats Hades, which this image was actually posted on the offical Kid Icarus Uprising Twitter profile (That Twitter page is entirely in Japanese, by the way) and along with the picture, they also released the Pit (Victory) card as a download and printable card only, not really as an actual card like the others and from what I saw, the Pit (Victory) card has not been released before. But, it is what they did as a tie in to Smash Ultimate's release.

Man, you're like a HARDCORE collector! I couldn't do that, I have this "what-would-I-do-with-it-in-the-end-it'd-just-gather-dust" mentality. And of course, not the money to spend on things like that. Anyway, thanks to this vid I actually got out the AR cards that came with my 3DS for the first time and messed around with 'em a bit. I didn't manage to scan your cards, but I messed around with the ones I had a bit. Good thing I've got a studio lamp in my room, it was very useful for lighting up the floor so the 3DS could read the cards! So, I guess thanks for letting me experience that. Though I kinda doubt I'll be going back to it. Seems like one of those neat gimmicks you'll check out once, then never go back to.

Gotta say, the card portion of this video was really interesting to me. I have a lot of the Series 2 cards from going to PAX Prime 2012. When I was there there was a circle of people playing Light VS Dark. So, I joined that group and played for a little over an hour and got tons of booster packs of cards. I got hundreds of the Series 2 cards that way, and had enough duplicate cards afterwards to give almost an entire set to a friend. The reason I bring this up is because seeing all those other cards, and the rare ones, was a pretty cool surprise considering how many of the cards I thought I had.

i wish i got into this game earlier in my life because of this. i dont even have one because i bought a used copy at gamestop that didnt even have the starter cards. i have a comicon near me too and some extra powerful weapons, so i could have grinded like you did. sadly even if a kid icarus game like this is released for switch, and the ar cards were distributed the same way, the switch doesnt have cameras so it wouldnt work. it really sucks, cuz grinding like that sounds like my kind of jam, but i guess its not possible for me.

WHICH IS WHY I'M EXCITED!!! :DDD Gale of Darkness is one of my favorite games of all time! It was my first Gamecube game, and the Gamecube was my firs console. So many memories. I am really happy!
