Seeing Kid Koala play children's songs in a giant koala costume, right before Deltron 3030 performed with an orchestra for free in Brooklyn --- Priceless.

Been a fan of his since I first heard his album “carpal tunnel syndrome” back in like 2001. It blew my mind at the time since I was just being introduced to the whole turntablism culture. Saw him open up for Ben Harper and Jack Johnson back in the day too. Very cool intelligent dude. ✌️ Please get DJ Shadow in here!!

Records like that Kojak one are such treasures in my opinion. I found a Christmas record featuring children's stories with a book to read along. I have a daughter and I can't wait to play the record and read with her. There really is something about it encouraging reading and imagination!

"Carpal Tunnel Syndrome" is one of the finest turntablist albums around as well as the soundtrack to the live-action/animated ZOOM. I also love the Koalas collaborations with Dan the Automator and Gorillaz, I think? Ninja Tune is one of the best labels around namely due to people like him, Mr. Scruff, Amon Tobin, Funki Porcini, Bonobo, etc?
