At least 25 years. I remember driving my 10yo nephew to our grandma's house for Thanksgiving in the late 90s. We were jamming and he started screaming "My name is Kiiiiiiiiiiid" and right at that moment, a speaker blew but that didn't stop us from singing it til the end. It's one of my favorite memories with that kiddo. Thats how I became the coolest aunt in the world. I remember installing new speakers that Thanksgiving weekend and I sucked at it so he made it better. So I go back a couple decades with you.

I have just had, yanked from the deepest wells of my memory, the recollection of strolling through a Best Buy in Memphis, Tennessee to pick up "Devil Without a Cause" after seeing this music video. It is a strange, beautiful, wonderful thing, the impact that music can have; a few notes and a melody can hurl you backward into an entirely different era. I have the fondest reminiscence for those days. Summers so hot the pavement baked underfoot, and we were propelling ourselves on rickety skateboards down the asphalt. The whole time, this song was part of the sonic background; listening to this again years later renews a small ember of that wild flame I used to have, the optimism, the enthusiasm, the sheer unbridled zest to tackle the entire world. What a wonderful thing, music is.

I finally got to see Kid Rock live in Tulsa Oklahoma at the BOK Center and he is phenomenal! It was a sold out show and everyone was on their feet rockin’ out! Kid was so amazed by his fans and he came back on stage twice for us all! It was so awesome and amazing for me to watch him perform and I took several videos and still go back and watch them! 🎶💯🎶❣️💯❣️

@@nickcouchjr6231 That’s awesome but I’ve been through St Louis several times once when I took the Greyhound bus up to Madison and it was crazy there!? I was totally blown away by the amount of homeless people living in tents under the overpass but they seemed to be pretty cool! I can’t wait until they start opening back up the venues again especially the BOK in Tulsa it rocked the house down! 💯😎💯🎶🎶🎶
