My mom's funeral was today. She was only 51 years and died from liver failure. My siblings picked this for one of her songs since she loved it. I didn't care for it, but the more I listen to it the more I realize it was perfect for her. Now everytime I hear the intro I get choked up. Lord help us all. RIP MAMA😭🙏

In 1999 my eldest son was paralysed. Then shortly there after he was diagnosed with a mental illness. After two years of trying to handle dealing with this my faith in God was spiraling and a fury for the unfairness was starting to stir in my vains. Well one a day when my son was visiting at home from a state mental institute my son told me too listen to this song because he said mom I think of you every time I hear it. So I listened...as the tears fell from my eyes I understood he too had faith even though he was going threw all that he was he still had faith God would see us threw it all. At every turn during this time God in some way found a way to reassure me he was still there even in the worst time in my life. It would come from different places, different thing that would happen such as this time. I was so in need and my son knew it so he told me to just listen.

Dear heavenly father, I can't and won't be able to make it with out you, I ask that you guide us closer to you each and every day on our journey, give us the wisdom to see past the evil ways of the devil and sin , please forgive me of all my wrong doing, let me cast my burden upon you, teach me more every day , I love you and praise you with my entire heart and soul....I will always need you with me. Growing up in the early 2000s, I've listened to Kid since and when this album came out it saved my life. I was ostracized by my family my coworkers and friends. "Too good" for some "not enough for most." Lost in the world at 19 years old I only had music. Thankfully I had my homeboy Robbie to keep me sane. Through this song and much like them I came to understand that there are struggles even with the most famous of us and it gave me a closure that even through what seemed a crap life could be beautiful. Thank you Kid you're my idol bro!

This is a great song describing hope Jesus is with you and how he would not like you to depart from him because he loves you no matter what and it's the 23rd psalm. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. When he talks about going east and west and the winds blowing we stay with me will you still be mine. That's trusting God and not walking away from him with things get bad. It's a very encouraging song. I love it I appreciate it guys using him to get it up to people that may not know the Lord read your Bible peoples

I have listened Kid since 1993. Went to all his concerts in KC, CA etc. This song in particular means alot to me for numerous reasons. It's a song that says to everyone you love this is what you will do and it says to anyone you may have lost too early in their lives that you will never forget them. I dont think anyone should judge how this song affects any followers or place judgements on them as to what the song means to them. Just my opinion.

This song brings not only goose bumps occasionally to me but brings back some of my funny, funniest, and saddest times I've had all in one song! Wow!! Got to have lived those times, truly felt it to be able to lived it to sing it, and relate to so many. Did that makes any sense at all? Anyway, felt it thru your soul to mine. ❤

January 14, 2002 As my family gathered around my mothers bedside at hospital we took her off life support and she changed worlds that day. What a sad and empty feeling leaving that hospital. I got in my car to go home and this song came on the radio; I had never heard this song before. It brought me comfort as I balled my eyes out 😭 It seems a lot of us here have found comfort from this song while dealing with the loss of a loved one

I listened to this song alot after I lost my grandma Karen Wilkinson to congestive heart failure at 75 years old. You never release how much you love someone until there gone. Word of advice from me cherish every moment that you have with your loved ones cause you never know when they will pass on from this world.
