I've been out of prison for 6 yrs now. This song was the only song that I sang in my head for months on end. Here I am now six years later revisiting this song and it makes more sense to me now why I sing that song in my head for so many months now than ever. Thank God for his grace his mercy and his love! 6 years clean and sober and going strong! All glory be to God 🙏

To all my fellow brothers and sisters that is reading this you are just as important as I and the rest of the world is. I love you and You are loved greatly by God and you are number one to him. Never ever give up but rise each time you fall. Life is a journey we all travel with many crossroads and many bridges. Sometimes we take the wrong road and we make mistakes along the way we just have to learn from them. I pray that if you are facing hard times and struggles that you just give it to GOD and have faith. Just know there is someone worse off than we are and I pray for all those that are. I always say I'm stressed but still blessed.

We have to turn to God I was beat and starved and had a horrible time going through school. I got adopted into a good home. My biological mom was a major alcoholic head men coming in and out of the house all the time after my adoption, they taught me about God, no matter what we do how we act or what we say God will forgive us and he will love us when I that God loves us unconditionally. That’s when I knew I wanted to serve God and I have a heavenly father and no matter what I do, he always loves me and I know we’ve all gone through horrible things in our lives, but if I can promise you one thing that having a relationship with Jesus Christ and Collin and him are heavenly father he will take care of you and him. We have eternal life and I am so thankful for where my life is now compared to where it started out as, if I can just share a little bit of sunshine, it serve Jesus Christ I’m sorry for all the hurt and pain that everybody has gone through but my prayer is that it’s made you a better person through it. Please hear my words. God loves you unconditionally

I went today for an endoscopy and found that the blood vessels in my esophagus are slightly enlarged due to the cirrhosis and I am being put on blood pressure medicine to hopefully stop them from getting worse. My cirrhosis started as fatty liver disease. I am working to get and keep my weight down along with keeping my sugar under control. The damage was done to my liver years ago when I was a considerable amount bigger. Hopefully, with God’s grace, I will keep on keeping on!!!!

In my short 15 years of being in this Earth I’ve been through more than most people have been through in their whole life. I lost my Dad in a motorcycle in 2018, he was only 35... My dad made sure I always had what I needed, and got clean, and saved me from the abuse i was living in. God bless you dad, I’ll never forget your voice, your love and sincerity, and I just wish that you were here so that I could tell you just how much you meant to me, and how you made me the man that I am today. I love you so much Dad, I can’t wait to see you again in paradise my best friend❤️ To everyone reading this, do what is right, live righteously, and love yourself. I want the best for all of you!

My dad used to listen to this song when he was sorting things out. I knew his soul was going through some growing pains . We drove out to Florida one year and he listened to it every now and then while trying to pick the path he wanted to go down next in life. He was having a rebirth of the soul. Unfortunately I didn’t understand the depth of it until he passed away 7 years after. I find as I get older with time I am drawn to this song like he is. He didn’t like kid rocks songs… but he loved this one. Sometimes I hear it I know it’s him. Saying not to quit and everything will be revealed in time.

@@kidrockofficialchannel5912 I can't imagine how busy that life is , but everyone has bad days and bad times in life, Kid is no exception... Would you (whoever on his staff that reads these) please take some time on a day where Kid is having that bad day, and let him read these stories. I've read them for hours today (during my bad time) and sometimes we all need to know that we make a difference. You've inspired so many, you've helped so many, and during a bad day, week, month or year, your music has done good...that counts for something. It's important, to all of us...and to you...because you wouldn't give us music if you didn't feel it was what you have to do... So please let him read these...show him...he sees a huge crowd...but people post these to tell him thank you. Each person means it ,it's helped this old lady this week too. Being 50 is easy Kid...but 60, it's better, our give a fuck breaks and it's awesome!! Peace and love to Kid Rock and Co.... Enjoy the grandkids...it's the best gig in town! 💜💯Jil💜💗

I tried to pray and believe in Jesus or God as a kid (difficult childhood) and ask for help. Quickly realizing it was to no avail I started to question this religion and this all-mighty power that should be guiding us. After that, through my life I have had more and more proof that actually logic, reason and some degree of understanding in psychology has helped the most to get through hard times in life were it losing a friend to drugs or an accident or breaking up with the first love of your life or having your mother signup a death wish via alcoholism. Praying to a "higher power" and placing your trust with it can help people out a lot, but bare in mind that this kind of approach towards the world and it's wonders is always restricted in some ways and limits oneself to grow as a human being to the fullest potential. There is much spirituality in the world even without attaching a book or a certain set of rituals and beliefs in to it. Peace! (This comment is not meant to offend anyone who has any beliefs or religions that they live their life by).

KRobert Smith - What's up boss, I happened to see you just posted that a week ago. About 8 years ago I was in your same place, it turned me in to a really selfish person. I think I was clean for like 9 months or so before I finally could throw away my last rig. After a few relapses, and turning my back on a few close people, time just sort of went on. I kind of just forgot that instant gratification mindset as well. If you ever think you're in a bad spot or feeling crazy, don't hold back seeing a suboxone doctor - the shit actually does help you and is way less of an evil than H. It got me through some tough spots, and there's sub doctors all over the freakin place now. Even if it takes just smoking green and subs for a while until your mind lets go of the dragon, it ends up being so much of an easier lifestyle to NOT be using H. Dude told me once if you put in 10% of the effort you did to get high into staying clean off H, you'll do alright.

This song makes me feel joy and sadness both. It makes me think about my dad who has since passed away but he had told me that this song made him think about me because of the line where it says "I watch my youngest son, and it helps to pass the time". August 14th 2019 will be my 3 years sobriety. My mom kicked me out and we lost our relationship. My dad abandoned me and my brothers so I didnt talk to him either. I was on coke, xanax, percocets, codeine. I would get so high that my face would lock up and I couldn't talk or smile.. I felt like dying every day but the drugs created a happy place for me. I was doing a half ounce of coke a weekend, waking up on multiple occasions unable to walk and spitting and pissing blood and blood clots. I was only 19 years old, I am completely off all drugs and I have an outstanding relationship with my mother & father and siblings. Life is so much better on the other side. I typed this comment for anyone struggling with addiction to read, if you come across this I want you to know God loves you and you are not worthless. Please better yourselves life is so much better, I love everyone and good luck on your journeys.

I turned 79 a year ago, in September. I've been sober ever since..... a year and two months. I was a chronic pot smoker for 50 years. Decided that I had had enough and quit, cold turkey. Never was much of a drinker, but I could burn one with the best of them. I quit smoking cigarettes when I was 33, but continued to toke away on cannabis. I took the money I would spend on smoke and put it in my savings account. My girlfriend and I are planning a nice vacation on the money I saved. And, maybe by quitting, I can prolong my life. I hope so, because I'm having a lot of fun living life with this young woman who has taken a fancy to my old ass! I'm a lucky man in so many ways. Only God knows why.
