Can anyone explain me who created this complex body structure in the human beings? Our body structure is so complex that we can't even imagine. Our hearts pumps 2,000 gallons of blood per day! And that too without any electricity. Our blood vessels could circle the globe. In fact, if they were laid out in a line, they would measure more than 60,000 miles in length, the U.S. National Institute on Aging (NIA) calculates. Considering that the circumference of the Earth is 24,873.6 miles, according to NASA, that means your blood vessels could circle the globe more than twice. This is the power of Allah. These all impossible things which can't come coincidentally. Allah made it all possible. Worship only Allah without any partners. That's the straight path. Allah says in the Quran, If you tried to count Allah’s blessings, you would never be able to number them. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And Allah knows what you conceal and what you reveal. Qur'an 16(18:19)

This is of great interest to me because some years ago I had kidney stones which irrupted at least every three months. It took three years for my GP to finally get me diagnosed by a urologists. I kept asking him could it be renal? I ended up having surgery done in my right kidney to remove a stone. It bleed for six days. Not a nice operation to go through. Why are doctors so unqualified to do their job? It beggers belief... I knew all along it was stones from my symptoms and the research I did but my doctor knew best of course.....

Hello prof. Webster and thank you for the unvaluable outstanding work you do for us every week. I have two questions: what is the significance of having two different types of nephrons? And also, two types of vasa recta: I mean, I understand they have different origins and so they bring "chemically different" (if I can say so) blood. But why? What does it mean functionally? I can't seem to find a good enough answer in the books. Sorry for bothering you and thank you again!
