This sketch is a beautiful and 100% accurate representation of life as I experienced it as a Canadian teen in the late 80's. This belongs in the Smithsonian as far as I'm concerned.

The only Megadeth t-shirt I ever owned was that exact one, Mary Jane... and I have a video of me throwing up at a party in 1989 and my friends carrying me in the door and my mom saying "Maybe you should brush your teeth or take a shower?" ... there's so many other little things too. Of course I'm drinking and watching this again and laughing.

I just noticed that Bobby's mom gestures for his dad to calm down, but as soon as Bobby says he's ready, she gestures for him to get hit. Also, Scott is cracking up as Bruce pukes out that car window.

I was too young when I first watched KITH to appreciate the humor. Watching this as an adult, I think it's hilarious. their sketches are still weird but I just find myself laughing. Way better than SNL.

Well both are from Lorne Michaels. I'd cut SNL some slack, think about how stupid fast those sketches come out, with a new host every week, and the majority sketches are live. That's a entirely different beast

Kith was on at some ironically pivotal moments in my existence or rather “around” like when my sister told my dad she was dating a black guy and he went nuts, when my dad threw me into the screen door for shoving him when I couldn’t dye my hair, when I dropped out of college, dropped acid, called my dad from my apartment I paid for with tuition money. So many moments.
