I totally remembered this from when I was a kid and had no idea the original song was by The Pointer Sisters, but now rewatching this, even though I vaguely remember the scene, I cannot remember the plot of this episode!

I had this song stuck in my head and searched for it to hear the original Pointer Sisters version. Honestly, I like this version and the rewritten lyrics better. Of course Martika killed it as usual. This is one of my favorite episodes. All the songs in this one were fantastic!

While nothing wrong with the lyrics in most of these songs (i.e. Love is a Contact sport), they had to make them kid-friendly, nerfing down the intimacy references and presto it works!
