Awww, those kids were adorable...I nearly cried when you said that stuff they said! During lunch and recess time at my school, I take care of the pre-k kids, they're a handful, but it's so worth it. The kids are like, "Hi, Virginia!" and they run to me and give me hugs...and it's so cute 'cause they hug me around the waist. It's adorable when they ask to play with me during play time! :) It's like, "they're so innocent and sweet." I love them! haha

I think it's so great you like to get involved with kids. I love kids too :) I previously did this angel tree thing at my school before I graduated in 2009. It was basically something we put together for underprivileged kids. We got together and were assigned a child who we brought gifts to and played games with and basically gave them the Christmas their parents couldn't afford. It was awesome :)

Haha, agreed! Kids are just absolutely adorable. My niece is only 3 years old, and that little girl had been talking up a storm since she was 1! It's funny cause the teachers at the daycare always tell us how she talks about her family all the time, and she even imitates us from time to time. I just love how kids just soak up everything they're learning :D

I bought my almost granddaughter a whole pile of new clothes for Christmas, then on a whim bought several matching hair bows and ribbons, and she could have cared less about the clothes, but had to put all the hair pieces in at once. David, I volunteered for years as a docent (volunteer teacher) at my local zoo. Every once in a while I'd get a kid who really wanted to learn and that was SO MUCH FUN! Thank you and the light in this blog was the best ever LOL.

What's so awesome about David is that everything he cares about is just the little things that we see each day but can hardly find how special they are. And David seems to be the one that makes us realize all those things. He doesn't care much about the fancy things that other singers usually do, which makes him such a true human being and a great role model for everyone :).

lolz so true! things have been so hard these days and i have decided to dig up all of my old disney movies and try to find the old me, reminiscing and such. so its like 12:30 am and im watching the lion king 2 haha. remembering the kid you once were helps a lot with whatever you're going through. Plus, all those old disney movies have amazing messages and give you that warm feeling of love.

Being a volunteer is one of the center points of my life. 12 years as a Girl Scout leader. I also am our area registrar here in Pleasant Grove, Utah and a trainer for new leaders, and I give mini trainings to current leaders. I love what I do and always have large troops of girls. 36 this year! I'm also a grandma of one little girl whom I adore. She just turned 2. Fun playing with her! Hey David. I always find plenty of time to act like a kid. I think it's really important for people to not take life so seriously and actually enjoy it. Since I do work in Disney World I have plenty if chances to interact with kids and they are always hilarious. I find that I get along really well wit any age group so that works out to my advantage at work. :) and as for my free time, that is always spent playing outside or watching movies with friends.

Hi David!I love this vlog. :) I love kids! I have 4 and as each one grows up, I feel like a part of me grows up all over again. lol . Last week I volunteered at our K-8 school helping with "Kids Against Hunger" a program where the children work together in making packaged meals that are sent to 3rd world countries.Through the day thousands of meals were made, and the kids are so proud! We all wore hairnets which they thought was funny! And Last night I played knee hockey with my 11 yr old! :)

This past week, our 10 & 13 yr old grandsons stayed with us for 4 days. So 10-yr old told me that in his 5th grade class, he gets to read to a 1st grader and tutor! I told him I was proud of him for being able to help a younger schoolmate! Sunday, we took them to San Diego's historic Cabrillo Lighthouse. They said, "Grandma, let's climb up the (very narrow) staircase".. so I did! Kids are the greatest & we had a blast! =) The other "kids" I volunteer for is 1 grandson's Special Olympic team!

I LOVE kids!!! They were pretty much my life before I left for college, BYU Idaho!! I interened last Spring at an elementary school because I want to be an elementary teacher. I nannyed from September to December and I love my kids and miss them soo much and I my calling was in the nursery!! I spent pretty much everyday of the week with kids. I feel like since I have come to BYU I have been in withdrawal lol cause I am not with kids anymore!! But I love all kids!! They are soo cute!!
