Thank you Jules. Yes it is sad about Andrew his videos and walks are great. I agree about getting to Kielder before the midges do lol. I also think the spot I camped on would not be good in the warmer months because of people visiting the chairs. Thank you for watching and commenting. Take care Steve.

Oh Steve. You got me in bits here. Bawling my eyes out. First up. Sorry I took so long to watch your video. Secondly, I’m pleased you went and that you had a successful camp. Most of all though. A massive thank you for your beautiful tribute our friend Andrew. My relationship with him was similar to the one you had. I never got around to meeting him but we had lots of info sharing and banter over the messages we shared. I could see how difficult it was for you doing that message but you got through it and I’m thankful for it. Also like you I too have had difficulty in dealing with his passing. I can’t explain it but perhaps at the end of he day we were both privileged to know such a remarkable human being. Someone who could touch our hearts from such a distance just has to be a special person. rip Andrew and god bless you for caring Steve.

Well thank you. First time I have done a wild camp at Kielder water and forest. The tent is a Hilleberg Nallo 2gt with good space in the porch area. I think it would get busy there with people in the warmer months at that particular spot because of the sculptured chairs. Thank you for watching and commenting. Steve.

I started solo wild camping last summer. After months of research I opted for the Hilleberg Soulo eventually , gulping as I pressed the pay button...lol.
@stevesdaysoff27595 жыл бұрын
@@truckertaff Great you will enjoy your Soulo. I Have one and its a strong tent as you know I have the Nallo as well. I use the Nallo when my wife and dog come camping and have started using it in the winter months when I'm solo camping. They are both strong tents. Thanks Steve.
@truckertaff5 жыл бұрын
Hi again Steve. Yes the Soulo is a fantastic tent and it feels good and safe camping in it , especially the places I.ve been like the Brecon Beacons and the South Wales coast which are both usually extremely windy....which reminds me I must get some of those delta pegs you got lol.Btw I've also recently been looking at getting a two person tent just an option for more space at times, just like you chose to take the Nallo on this outing. Not sure if its gonna be another Hilleberg mind altho the Anjan in sand colour looks very tempting. we'll see haha...ATB,Mark :)

@@truckertaff Yes having two tents is ideal for different conditions. Good luck. Steve.

Thank you. Good information. The spot I went to was ok for the time of year but I think it would get busy with walkers in the warmer months. Keep your videos coming, you have a good channel. Thanks for watching and commenting. Steve.

Hello Josh. There is a car park at the top of Kielder water in the Viaduct woods below the Kielder Castle car park and its free parking. Well it was when I went there. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching and commenting. Steve.
