The best signing this podcast has ever made too. What a guest ,and to get him on at a time when Newcastle are flying and as he's about to go to a World Cup is brilliant timing too. Looking forward to this . Under rated player who's finally over the last couple of year's started to get the recognition he's deserves ,, think he's been a key signing and a massive reason why Newcastle survived last year and are going well this year. . Will be a key player for England at the world Cup too I think even if doesn't start every game .

I'm not a Burnley fan, but I remember what he was like at Burnley in the Championship absolutely blitzing players down the right flank whipping in quality crosses again and again. He's still as good now as he was a few years back too. I'll be stunned if he's not our first choice RB in this fad of a World Cup. His form for Newcastle has been incredibly good.

Absolutely love him at Newcastle. I’ve always been a fan of Tripps, always admired him as a player… but it wasn’t until he signed for my team and I’m watching him week in, week out.. that you realise just HOW GOOD he is… his quality on the ball, and in the club is second to none. Great lad too.

Trippier is the best signing by far at Nufc no relegation clause that takes some bottle baring in mind this World Cup because without the likes of him we could of been in the championship but with Howe in charge somehow even with no money to spend I had faith in him he would get the players fit first of all and organised, I said he’s the best signing player wise he is probably the best right back I’ve seen at Newcastle and I’ve seen a large number being almost 64! Howe is the best signing and people who don’t see the work, commitment, drive that this man has well you really don’t know how good this man is as a manager. Trippier being brought up in a council house etc probably was the best thing for him as a person because you can tell he hasn’t forgot his roots and this is down to how his parents brought him up so full credit to his mam and dad you’ve brought your son up to be a cracking human being. Newcastle is a city that loves its club so much we talk football 24/7 we feel the defeats as much if not more than the players, all we ever wanted was a team that gives it all tries to play attacking football, as for Trippier if he could win us something then the biggest party ever seen is on its way, if by any chance he reads this (yes unlikely) Good luck in the World Cup and we can’t wait too see you in a black& white shirt again, maybe against Bournemouth in the cup but more than likely away at Leicester on Boxing Day. Keep the faith for European football anything is possible just not to fight relegation is a massive relief. Up the Mags, Excellent podcast lads. 👍👏👏👏🖤🤍🖤🤍

Tripps saying that he just wanted to get out & play & wasn’t particularly bothered about facilities, I think that is the difference between some of the younger players at the bigger clubs now, they are given large fortunes & looked after in every way possible & they would rather keep that rather than go out & play men’s football further down the football pyramid. You can then tell the players that want to play football for a profession rather than those who who just want the professional footballers lifestyle.
@jamesodriscoll67482 жыл бұрын
If you drop down and blossom bit later you will be picked up perfect example
@Tipps722 жыл бұрын
@@jamesodriscoll6748 Exactly, there’s plenty of examples of young lads that have taken loans or permanent moves to clubs in lower divisions that have gone on & made a success of their careers but similarly there are loads of young lads that were highly rated at their bigger clubs who never went on to play first team football at those clubs & then by the time they get released even Championship clubs aren’t wanting to sign them because the players are on too much money but have very little experience & it’s simply too much of a risk for Championship clubs to take, especially if they think the players aren’t motivated to play. There are quite a few of the current England squad that have gone out on loan as youngsters or started their careers at lower league clubs & those players have been making noises about how important it was for their development.

A solid watch. But always enjoy the guests who have spent majority of their careers in the lower-mid echelons of the football league pyramid or maybe had a season or two in Prem (EG Bradley Orr/Matt Kilgallon/Matt Mills/David Wheater) That’s where this podcast really works. Top pros, but have experienced a varied level of professionalism through the leagues. As a Newcastle fan, hearing Trippier speak so fondly of the city and fan base is brilliant. But an ultra professional, active premier league/international player makes for a bit of a stale/media savvy podcast guest.
