For the other viewers and as a reference, I'm 6 foot and 190 lbs. and have the 0 degree Slick Bag in a regular wide and it's one of the best pieces of gear I've ever purchased. Plenty of room and super comfortable. It's definitely a buy.

I'm 5' 10" I went with the -20 regular bag - based on the assumption that global warming is a hoax.🤣😂🤣

Thank you for such a great showing of that bag. I am 6f5i tall and 255lb. I also hate the idea of a second skin for a sleep system. You have convinced me on this bag.

Thanks for the review - great demo of the size. I watched your video a couple of times as I have been contemplating a Kifaru sleeping bag for a while now but needed a good representation of the size of their wide bag. I'm 6'2" and a fairly lean 230 - so it's definitely the wide one. I'll tell you this too: I like a longer bag because I put my socks, under gloves / next day's base layer at the bottom of the bag to pre heat for the next day. I've got an older bag in my winter kit now that will soon be replaced by that very same bag. The new continuous filament Climashield apex insulation is supposed to be amazing stuff. If it is colder than 0 - just throw a woobie, Jerven bag or other bag liner / shell to the mix and you will get a lot warmer. Winter camping is heavier loadout than summer camping for sure - but with the right kit, I prefer it to summer. I also really like Kifaru - I have used a lot of their stuff in the past - [packs, woobie, pouches] - I've never been disappointed by them. I still have an old 2008 (I think) Express pack of theirs that looks and works like brand new - I carried it almost every day, all over the world for 6 years. The thing seems immortal. My winter loadout is getting an overhaul this year though. It's now a mix up of several manufacturers - but the Kifaru bag [and my trusty doobie woobie] will be in there for sure. Thanks again for the vid. RB

Cheers for an awesome review, gave a great perspective of size and shape etc, and has sealed the deal for as far as a sleep system goes!

Great feedback, thanks!! I’m committed to a Slickbag...but which degree rating is my challenge!? I’d like to go lighter, so regular, wide, 20°....but some nights get fricken cold....and in those cases would slipping in a added quilt be the ticket? My understanding with the synthetic lining is that it continues to wick moisture...seems like it would withdrawal any perspiration that a added down quilt would absorb...(right?) I am far more inclined to beef up to my sleeping kit, then being stuck with a heavy bag on warm or hot nights.

Gary O I completely understand what you're saying. I have only had a few nights where I was glad I got the zero degree because in some cases it's actually been too warm and I find myself with half my body outside of it. One thing I used to do in the past with lighter sleeping bags such as a 20 is pack a few hand warmers with you. Shake one up real good before you're ready to go to sleep and throw it in the foot area of your bag. Believe it or not it makes a huge difference and they are lightweight and do not take up much space. If I were to do it again I would get the 22-degree bag.

BK33REVIEWS yes I'm pretty sure you would fit fine. The website is kifaru.net. The bags are on the steeper end for synthetic bag but the far surpass the other in quality and comfort.

Laying perfectly flat, zipped up ...32 at the shoulders. Then gradual to 24 slightly below waste area. 24 at foot area.
