We're living in a time where the guitarist of megadeth literally shares his exact tone settings to everybody. so nice
@slowtalker3 жыл бұрын
I don't know why nobody does that. If I were a member of a famous band, I would surely share my settings, show how to play specific riffs or even whole songs. It would only help me and my band. Now we have softwares to understand better each note, but when I was a beginner, I would give up trying to learn a song without available correct tabs.

Kiko, you seem to have a natural ability to teach people. You always have a positive, encouraging approach in your videos. Definitely different for a guy that plays in a metal band, especially for a guitarist that shreds like you do. The Neural guys are amazing people. While I'm long term using my Helix for stuff because it is integrated so well into my setup I had a lot of conversations with these guys during the process of the development of the Quad Cortex and specifically to try to make the eventual editor software more accessible for the blind. They gave it a shot and I think will keep trying at it off and on as it develops more. Great seeing you using a peace of gear like that on stage and giving these guys some very high profile love and exposure to new markets. Keep doing your thing brother

It makes me glad that I just got a multieffect pedal with amps and cabinets simulators and I thought of using the same old school concept of "having" one amp and cabinet, and just adding the different effects to the same one "amp and cab", and seeing Kiko, (one of childhood idols) doing it the same way. Obviously, I cannot compare myself to Kiko, but it makes me think I'm doing something right, if I'm doing the same thing he's doing.

I’m also wondering the same thing. I doubt they’re solid state since they’ll over power a 300 watt cab. My guess would be Mesa-Simul 2:Ninety or VHT/Fryette 2902. Just a guess. Hopefully someone chimes in that knows.
@07BSPtC3 жыл бұрын
@@danrao3707 many people are using solid state amps simply for headroom. They aren’t cranking it and sending 700w to the cab. Remember. Fender needs 200w to simulate a 40w tube amp. Basically 4x as much power. 700w amps do 350 into an 8 ohm cab which is a bit less than 4x 100w.
@YagoBraga3 жыл бұрын
Confesso que ficaria muito perdido sem nada pra pisar e controlar a guitarra no palco, mas deve ser muito cômodo se preocupar somente tocar e não ter que se preocupar com os efeitos durante o show. Nice! Doesn't seem to complicated, and it also sounds great which is the most important factor after all. Looks like it makes the job of the tech much easier too, since the program/patch/scene changes are done via midi instead of him having to punch the knobs/buttons for every change in sound.
