I think the reason for Tommy Gun existing crossperk on SWAT is cuz the Thompson Submachine Gun was used in law enforcement, idk if its still being used today tho. Also the C in G36C stands for compact, rather than being the regular G36 rifle, its primarily used by British counter terrorism officers so that's why its a SWAT weapon, altho SWATs irl don't limit themselves to just the compact version of the rifle.

Tbh i would put P90 way higher why? Huge ammo pool (even per mag is high), decent ROF and dmg and quite low price although its pretty heavy still i wouldve prefer it over kriss

Agree with most things heres my list: S - HRG Nailgun does 50% more damage to FP's and 20% more QP's making it much safer against those threats outside of zed time it also has penetration letting you kill multiple targets at once and its altfire lets you clear everything with body damage. A - Kriss & G36C Kriss is higher DPS but the G36 breaks armour so you can just point at heads height the whole time. B - MP5, UMP everything here can be used instead of a Kriss or G36 and still work, Bastion belongs here too thanks to its shield and so does the med 301 med SMG for its healing and being so light it fits into a lot of loadouts. C - MP7 & P90 both weapons just scale worse with upgrades than the others and the MP7 has a small mag and the P90 doesnt get more reload speed with tac reloads, Glock+shield i would put this higher but the bastion is a better shield and the Nailgun is a better FP killer its entire identity is covered better by other weapons, HRG Stunner it only stuns scrakes and you already delete scrakes so i dont see the point, tommy gun has so much spread and recoil and terrible sights im not a fan. D - mac10 All your guns including the mac10 have low damage the way you kill things is via headshots and fire is not conducive to that goal as it does body damage, compared to the MP5 you are paying 550 more dosh for 3 more damage (from 25 to 28), a smaller magazine (40 to 32) and fire, the first upgrade on the MP5 costs 600 and makes it do more damage. Because of the upgrade system classes like SWAT who all have the same type of weapon (in this case SMG's) can all by upgraded and feel very similar so its the unique things that make weapons stand out, like the Nailgun/glocks pierce/pistol damage being stronger vs FP's or the G36's armour pen. Just threw the G36C into the DPS spreadsheet i made back in the day and i get Kriss > Tommy gun > MP5 > G36c > UMP > P90 > MP7 > Mac10 > 301. The main advantage to the UMP is 1 shotting gorefasts - but every weapon gets that ability at T4 or T5 (apart from the 301), as good as the tommy gun is its spread+recoil make it less effective in practice than in theory but the MP5 is solid.

Excluding 9mm and 93r is criminal, because swat affects these weapons the most. Granted, they are not super influential by themselves and work better with special binds/macros, but they still can make a difference. 93R is basically a 2 weight unit mp7, that can scale into a mid tier smg territory with upgrades without gaining any weight, turning a 2 weapon loadout into a 3 weapon. 9mms are less notable, but can be reserved for oneshotting (without a headshot) crawlers with some upgrades and dealing with bloats more efficiently (smg dmg type is weaker for them and 9mms specifically have a personal boost against them). UMP, Tommy Gun and HM-201 should be higher. HM-201 obviously because of its support utility while being the lightest smg. UMP with upgrades on high enough perk level (22) can oneshot the clot type enemy trio and crawlers, which drastically increases its effective range and economy and iirc its DPS becomes roughly equal to the Kriss smg. Tommy Gun gains a lot of damage with upgrades and is the highest mag capacity SMG inferior only to HRG Bastion in that regard, and while I am currently mostly out of the loop in terms of stat knowledge and evaluation, brief examination nets me the conclusion that those weapons are at least on par with each other if TG not being slightly better. TG like UMP is an economically viable option that relies on ammo box resupplies instead of dmg thresholds and precision. MP5 iirc doesn't do anything notable besides matching Kriss smg in terms of dps after upgrades, and Kriss smg has been outclassed by HRG Nailgun for quite a while.
