Action, how is this system with boost compared to the basic Holley sniper? Same 2.5 MAP sensor internally? What about fuel pressure, do you need an external regulated pressure set at a specific level? Thanks.

3 bar map but you have to scale it in the software super not hard but it’s a thing to do. For the reg I would use a bypass return at 43.5psi or greater with a 1:1 boast ref port. You can use it with blow thru or draw thru. The draw thru you have to plug the map ref hole in the bottom and use the boost reference port with threaded adapter on the front of the body.

Hey man, two questions : Got a EFI Killshot for my Buick 455. Manual says to run between 42 to 48 psi of fuel pressure minimally. Is there any concern to run it higher than that, like 60 psi? Other question, there was no fuel pressure sending unit send with the kit. Any recommendations one a unit I shall get? Also, will it help tuning whatsoever, or it is just to have a reading in the screen display? Thank you!

Answer 1: 60 is good but you have to change your rates pressure or you duty cycle will be off and make it rich. Answer 2: the fuel pressure transducer wiring is in the harness but when they software is updated at later date it will be used to show fuel pressure or be used for oil pressure I hope.

My 302 has a killshot system with a blackjack distributor with the computer controlling timing on it. Runs great but it sounds like it hits a Rev limiter when I floor it at about 3k rpm. Any thoughts on why?
@actionvulture5251 Жыл бұрын
You got to make sure when using timing control it is mechanically locked out and you setup the timing value correctly. It is the most common problem I get with that symptom. Also make sure to be using the correct coil. It was engineered to be used with the blackjack coil because it is driven internally by some igbt transistors.

@@actionvulture5251 I've got both of those done. I'm using aces coil and watched your video on how to lock it out! Thanks by the way, super helpful! It's still got a weird hesitation at 3200 rpm or so

15* locked out mechanically and 15* static lock out on the HH? Also if both of those are true after you unlock timing for control when you put it to the mat check your AFR to look for it going lean if so you might need to add some acceleration correction vs TPs.

@@actionvulture5251 which parameter is that under? My afr is about 14 at idle and 13.7 while driving. I also made sure my distributor is at exactly 15 btdc static.
