Yeah Killua had the Willpower to beat these two ants to help his teammates BUT IT WASN'T THE REASON why he beat them! It's because he knows about the dart game they played and because he's fast and strong. If he only had the WILLPOWER, he won't be able to beat them! Willpower plays a big role in everything. @@youarecapping7983 Thats only if he can catch him and I doubt he can, Killua is really fast even without some powers that he uses later on, plus there would really be no point in stealing Killua's powers since Kurapika couldnt use them since Kurapika doesnt have the electricity tolerance that Killua has, so it would hurt Kurapika to use them. Basically base strength Killua has more strength and speed and experience, though Im sure Kurapika has some experience with fighting too, at least with his wooden swords and martial arts, with their powers though, its kinda a toss up, and I think who will win will be based off luck, smarts, and strategy, which both Killua and Kurapika have plenty of, Killua wont fall into a trap as easily as Uvo. Basically, I think its really hard to say who would win between the 2, it really just depends (though with a person that is introduced later on, Killua would defin. win, but that is really unfair, an even bigger cheat than Emperor's Time, I say that, but I still love and adore that character though). Defin. for the most part Killua and Kurapika can beat both Gon and Leo though.

@@sniper4971 They werent stronger, they were the same rank as the ones Gon fought, they had a little better strategy than the 1st goon squad, but for the most part attacking on en masse like that would have been difficult for most average hunters, Gon would have taken them out, but it would have defin. taken him longer, he wouldnt be able to do it as quick as Killua or make it look as easy. The Octopus is a Captain, above the ones Gon fought with a way better ability able to inflict way more damage (slowly affecting the target with blood loss). They also had a strategy, the whole time Flutter (I think Captain or higher, maybe Squad Leader, relatively psychically weak, but hard to take down since he is pretty to get so high up in the air, more of a tactician than fighter, plus Killua is trying not to use his powers as to not give them away) was giving coordinates to the squad which allowed Killua to be found if the 1st place, and allowed to Dung Bettle CA (Dont know if the dung Beetle was a Soldier or Captain either way it probably would have cause Gon damage as well) to escape Killua, then Flutter proceeded to coordinates to The Sniper which allowed it to attack Killua from way far away, Im pretty sure Gon wouldnt have been able to deal with the pain and blood loss as well as Killua since he doesnt have the torture training Killua has, though he is tough and very determined, and he would have probably found The Sniper but it would taken him longer, and Gon wouldnt have had the speed to catch up to The Sniper and take him out like Killua did. So no Gon's opponents werent stronger, they had a great and difficult combo/ strategy, but they were the same rank as most of the ones Killua fought, switch places Killua would have taken out the Bat and Owl relatively quick, while Gon fighting all the goons from yesterday it would have taken him way longer it would have been harder for him. Basically Killua made it look easy due to his strength, speed, and experience, they werent easier than Gon's nor did they have the weaker strategy, though Gon's probably were physically stronger than with better nen powers than some of the ones Killua fought, Im not trying to put down Gon's opponents. Also being attacked by so many is actually pretty difficult, Killua just knows how to do it, Gon would have done it too, but like I said it would have taken way longer. But again, I honestly think u shouldnt compare their battles since they are different, plus the fight from last episode to the fight this episode has basically been one long continuous fight for Killua who is already running low on stamina and sleep with no breaks really, so yeah Killua's all in all is harder.

This probably won't just get buried under willpower comments, but these episodes mark an interesting dynamic shift between Killua and Gon imo. In the beginning Gon was the "light" and Killua was the "darkness". However, in these episodes, Ikalgo is drawn to Killua's "light", and Meleoron is drawn to Gon's "darkness".

Its hilarious that Rob is so obsessed with willpower that any time anyone even says something is savagery, coolness, literally attributes anything to anything he's like NO ACTUALLY THAT WAS WILLPOWER THAT LET THAT CHARACTER TAKE A NAP IN THE AFTERNOON NOT BEING SLEEPY. Like Rob being a savage takes willpower and it takes willpower to be a savage. A savage is just someone who don't give a fuck and pushes through mental and physical harm and deals with enemies with a kill or be killed mentality. You can be a strategic savage, my man.
