My small ramekin bowl overflowed on my cookie. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hHayc6RnhNGMbMU I ground off the extra glaze and use it all the time. It's my favorite little bowl. Just like your husband's favorite big bowl. I like that one. Hope you are doing well. What are you working on now? 😊

​@@PotteryCrafters I have been working a whole lot of hours. there is a huge medical staff shortage and the only response is us working a ton of overtime just to have enough to care for our patients. pretty much have hit a wall. but next week I am not doing overtime and will have a couple weeks of vacation. going to Yellowstone and grand tetons for a week of it. looking so forward to it.

I used to hate glazing. I thought it was boring compared to throwing and trimming. Lol. I’ve recently started experimenting more and I’m learning to enjoy the process a little more. Thanks for the great ideas. I’ve been trying to get some obsidian for months now but the store where I buy my glazes is always out. That’s a really popular glaze I think.

Hi Marie. have you tried amaco Iton luster under Oatmeal. i have a pot that is amazing 3 x iron luster and a dip in oatmeal. ( I have a 5 gallon bucket of oatmeal) the blues are amazing in it.

Hello Marie a question when I mold a large dish when I have a bisk fire my dish deforms slightly. I lowered the temperature of my oven by 5 degrees but it is still distorted. Is it possible that my large pieces dry too quickly or should I place them under plastic to let them dry. Thank you Marie for your wise advice.

Hi Robert. The temperature you fire to should not matter. Make sure the bowl is round to start with. Then stand upside-down to dry. Then bisque fire upside-down. Let me know how it goes. 😊

You are welcome, Robert. Of course, you have to route your bowl when drying. Start out drying it right side up, then upside down then end up upside-down. Here is a link for drying your pots.
