I’m gonna be honest, I just want Bungie to make a co-op open world Destiny game in the style of Borderlands. 1 planet with different cities. 6 in universe characters to choose from. A compelling story, with awesome loot, and a 6 player raid at the end to unlock. No multiplayer. And then move on to the sequel. No more massive live service, just an easy to jump in single player/co-op experience, and then give us another in 2-3 years.

I’d love them to turn patrols into a Helldivers 2 style experience. Drop in to enemy territory, complete objectives, collect loot, get out. I’ve also always thought Destiny needed to do a much better job of conveying the idea that the galaxy is in the middle of an ongoing war and a Helldivers 2 style map of the galaxy with different factions fighting for control of sectors would be a great way to do it.
