Our daughter was 13 this year. Saw it twice - with her friends and then with us. Wonderful film that just hit all the right notes and meant so much. I completely understand why it did so well

@jacobturnerart And just for comparison my oldest is six and he insisted on seeing it. He loved it and it's the first film my almost 4 year old went to a theater for and he was able to sit through the whole thing.

Show them The Wild Robot if you haven't. But otherwise yeah I'm in agreement, this was THE movie my kids wanted to see and I also walked away from it much more positively than they seem to have. My wife and oldest battle with anxiety more than I ever have so it seemed to impact them especially.

Y'all clearly don't remember the first movie lol. Her and her family move from Minnesota, so that's why she plays hockey. A whole part of the first movie is her not being able to fit in in California and missing her old life. Hockey is apart of that.

If I was to completely guess, I think two reasons for it's success are: 1. Children 2. It's extremely relatable to a looot of people with deep anxiety. Which maybe shows how many people are actually dealing with anxiety untreated

Fellow New Yorker here but yeah Dunkin Donuts suck for donuts. I like them for their sugary drinks. The breakfast sandwiches are good and the hash browns are small but very tasty! Boston people will probably get offended by Nick's statements though!
