Greg Miller, I am a father of 3. I am also a Greg. I have the same germ/ocd situation. Ive worked in healthcare for 10+years. What helps keep me calm during “germ scares” etc , i never saw a kid sick from touching a toilet. Or touching dirt. Or most things that stress us dads out. .01% chance of getting sick isn’t worth the stress you will pass on to him by being overprotective.

Idk how they got the cooks in on it 😂 and Tyler Hochlin had a different Superman suit in season 1 of his show that I though was way better than what they settled on (which is what you showed). The season 1 suit is pulled right out of the Smallville season 11 comic book

What's always annoyed me about old superhero movies is the fact that we as people that watch superhero movies know that in the comics heroes interact, there's never just one villain attacking a city and there's never just one hero patrolling. Well, it's just Superman. No one else is in that town except there's a ton of other heroes in that City. There's a ton of other super villains in in that City. Also the only iteration of Superman I like Is Cavill's Superman. All other versions of Superman are swimmers in leotards and Superman is supposed to be tall and physically imposing.

I agree about multiple plots and storylines intersecting, but it takes a good storyteller & director to accomplish that. Unfortunately with Gunn, multiple characters (as he can't seem to focus on a singular character) is just reason to bounce jokes off one another and excessive slapstick comedy. The MoS, Logan, Blade, etc, movies are harder to filter out from all the goofy, popcorn movies nowadays.

Christopher Reeve was the biggest of the bunch at 6' 4". He was a Superman that not only towered over people but had that wholesome look that made kids wanna climb him. I wonder what a Chris Reeve Superman movie would look like today if he were with us and still young. I think it would have lots of heroes who are handling situations when the big man arrives, he'd have a better suit than this, probably closer to Cavill's but with better colors like this and he'd be back to saving kittens from trees as well as stopping WW3 🤣

I’m hoping James Gunn goes the DCAU Justice League route. If you watch the original Justice League cartoons opening episodes, it’s a three parter that perfectly introduces the Justice League and a threat without feeling like Spider Man 3. I know that Superman and Batman had cartoons before that show to kind of help usher it in but I think Gunn trusts the audience and he’ll be able to pull off introducing us to this new universe. I’m hyped!!

As huge supporter of the 4 day work week but also needing my kinda funny content 25/8 lol here's what I as a very hardcore listener and watcher of alllllll of kinda funny content everyday of life for over 10 years well... since 2016 for kinda funny and of course BEYOND... any ways here's what I and I think lots of others could accept... yall have yalls four day work week and have Friday Saturday and Sunday off but once a month yall do come in on a Friday and record us some vids through out the year of whatever yall want not live, no pressure, but something for us to watch while yall take yalls long ass Christmas break... every Christmas break is pretty hard for me and especially so cuz yall disappear on me lol you know... like family lol thanks Greg love yall

This new Supetman will be great for some pining for the goofy jokes and bright colors following in the line of the MCU, but some us will wait for the actual Blade, Logan, MoS and Daredevil (Netflix) type movies and shows that are actually concerned about telling good stories with adult themes instead of the goofiness CBMs have become.

Seeing the Clark Kent and superman costumes from the 1978 film is something else, pictures are one thing, but as a superman fan it is something else. I hope they do a little post refinement of the suit in the JG film, I think the shoulders and arms are a bit too bulky.

I really like the colors of the new Superman suit. We'll see how it translates in the film post-production with color correction. My only "issue" is the symbol. I was never a fan of that Alex Ross style Kingdom Come symbol. It looks more like a "No" symbol like "No Superhero".

I'm not feeling this "relaxed fit" Superman suit. Looks like ass imo. Shoulder pads and panels like an MCU costume. Those things work there because those are vulnerable humans or even vulnerable gods (lowercase). Superman just needs a suit that makes him look jacked. Symbol is cool. Kingdom Come reference. I'm not feeling it otherwise. Colors are AMAZING tho

You can't judge the fit until post-production. They always need to edit out the wrinkles and emphasize the muscle with cgi. Even Spider-Man. Personally, I think the panels are necessary for any simple costume translated to live action. The flat blue bodysuit only works in animation.

Here in NYC, we have the original The Halal Guys over by Rockefeller Center. It's still a food truck. Food so good in fact, there's a line down the street daily from when they open to when they close. Additionally, we have other The Halal Guys trucks that are franchised and can be either hit or miss, THEN we also have the restaurants which can ALSO be hit or miss 🤣 I'll ONLY go to 2 locations for certain: the one on 14th Street and 1st Ave or the original. That's it. Most people in NYC have their preferences and won't deviate 🤣

The suit looks godawfully cheap in terms of texture/ material. It is too thick, without any definition, and the folds are not nice. I have preference for no briefs, however, this design of briefs/ belt is just ugly regardless. The entire suit seems like a terrible mishmash of various iterations, and it does not flow for me. I have seen a lot better edits online.
