There are a set of energy switches that can be activated for any muscles testing week. These can be found in the Touch for Health book. If a muscle tests weak it often indicates that there is an energy deficiency in the meridian and the organ may be having a challenge.

Hey Doc, great video! Simple and easy to follow, I have recommended this for my students to watch and learn the basics on how muscles and meridians are connected. This is the true art of how to heal the body - this tech. returned me back to training in martial arts.

I had this testing done and was told that I was too strong for this to work because I could easily hold against the doc’s strength every time. Told that my weakness was emotional and seated in my hypothalamus. A surrogate was brought in too assist? Kind of hard to believe in this science.

What is the purpose of these tests?
@kinesiologyinstitute3 жыл бұрын
They are to assess both the structural and energetic balance within the body. If a muscle is inhibited due to some form of stress, the opposing muscle can become tight. Each muscle is also associated with an acupuncture meridian and an organ or gland. There are reflexes taught in my courses that balance the muscles, which relieves pain and tension. It also brings about greater function of the organ or gland that is associated with the muscle. See more on KinesiologyInstitute.com

Serious question. How, where and when was all this discovered, was it all at one time or develop over many years?
@kinesiologyinstitute9 ай бұрын
Dr. George Goodheart made the early discoveries in 1964 and it continually has developed since then.

Joe Gritzenborg Is it also a CERTIFICATION 100 HOUR COURSE....so just by watching this does not make you an Applied Kinesiologist, and by the ICAK you cannot say you do AK unless you take the course and pass the test. So muscle testing and AK are two different things. Good place to take training with JM and most of all must practice, practice, practice to gain basic skills.

This is a great video, but what are the corrections you make if the muscle test is weak?
@kinesiologyinstitute8 жыл бұрын
Hi Norma, The Touch for Health book by John Thie, DC has those corrections.
@RobJL016 жыл бұрын
gilllie666 sadly that won’t work if the muscle is inhibited by another muscle, it will just strengthen the faulty compensation pattern.

Hi John, I have a question. When you apply the resistance to test the deltoid, you should do at the distal end of the humerus? It's the same as doing it where you did? why? It is not interject joints, is how I learned recently.

I prefer testing the sacrospinalis for the Bladder meridian. When I worked in Dr. Thie's office. He tested every patient's sacrospinalis, which is such an important muscle group for stabilizing the back.

Muy Interesante...Question according for acupuncture practice is important do not cross on top of the patient, try to avoid it if is possible, did you do the test in this form or was because the video?

Eduardo Barreto Yes, normally in a session a test the side I am standing on and then go around the table, but for the video camera it is easier to do it as I demonstrated it.

Also, be sure that twice a week you are updating the beans you use for the cold bean tub dip! It’s important to change them out so that the fine linen suit worn for the dip is in priority mode!

Hi John, curious, you are describing the anterior division of the deltoid as having a gallbladder association. In classic Applied Kinesiology, anterior deltoid is related to the lung meridian (and organ), while the popliteus is associated with gallbladder meridian (and organ). What (or whom) is your source for the anterior deltoid / gallbladder meridian association?
@kinesiologyinstitute9 жыл бұрын
Hi Shaun, John Thie, DC, creator of Touch for Health has it as Gall Bladder. You need to test with the arm directly over the thigh for that association. I teach Popliteus for Gall Bladder in my advance courses, but since Dr. Thie has it listed as GB in his book and charts, I included it here.
