I’ll bet the good Guard was wishing he wasn’t on duty and in uniform at that point. The two little dolts clearly don’t understand that our Guards have seen real combat and are highly trained and disciplined. They think they’re big men but they’re just puppies who are playing with fire. Thank you, Buska for protecting the Guards when discipline dictates they can’t defend themselves.

While not a lot, court costs and fines alone should be stiff. I was disappointed the police never confronted them. I've seen the police intervene for much less than this.

There’s these quite large groups of people so near to them…it’s really hard to fathom how this is allowed! Surely they’re should be some kind of barrier to stop people getting so damn close! My father was military, and did Ceremonial Duty a few times. Especially on Memorial Day, or Remebrance Day here in Canada. He did Ceremonial Duty at the National Cemetary where the fallen are buried. He stood guard over them. Until after the Remembrance Day Ceremonies at the National Cenetaph. Them he was relieved of duty, and allowed to go about his regular job in the military. There's an etiquette when dealing with the King's Guard and there wouldn't have been an issue if the guy's would have taken their souvenier picture, been content and carried on with their sightseeing. They were clearly purposefully becoming an irritant to both the horse and guard, and deserved the action that was taken. If you come to this country and ignore the customs and etiquette don't be surprised when you're treated in such a way.
