I love him. He has a big heart, especially towards the elderly, children and people in difficulty. Not to mention the great love he has for horses, with which he really has a special relationship. He's a truly wonderful person!😊😊😊❤😊😊😊

He’s got that glare that makes him look like someone you don’t want to mess with. I think it’s a great characteristic for a guard. I personally think he looks incredible in that uniform. Thanks to him and all of the guards there for their service!

This guard is so softly assertive with his shout. Has a stare of just don't do it and has admirable kindness towards children and those with needs. A true gent.

Yes, the clip of him with the Downs Syndrome man went viral. I met him about three weeks ago, his name is Pete. He's lovely, couldn't be more than 21 and very humble. An absolute doll.

You can get a sense from looking at several videos of a friendship that's deeper between some guards than others. Those occasional smiles give it away. Just a reflection that inside the uniform is a human who will laugh afterwards in the barracks.

This is the one guard I love to watch the most! Do you think you could find out his name? Of all the guards, he seems to have the most compassion. I've seen him scoot closer to special needs people just so they can get a picture with him. He politely scouts back into place without ever moving his head. He is just a kind young man. I've never seen him look angry or scare someone when he tells them to "make way". I would love to know more about him. He reminds me of my grandson. Just a gentle soul. God bless him!

@@royal_guardsgal7945 indeed, and he seems like a sweetheart too. I'm sure you've also seen it, that video under the arches with the couple and their tiny baby, where he steps closer so they can get a better picture, and stomps his foot 'silently' so not to scare the baby. Melted my heart.

@@royal_guardsgal7945 yes, both those videos are favourites ❤️ especially the arches one. Our boy means business! 😁 I keep hoping for a smile too. Maybe one day during the 4oclock inspection. They sometimes crack a smile or laugh when the officer talks to them. I'm willing to bet his smile will just as cute as the 'original smiling guard'😄

@@royal_guardsgal7945 I'm so sorry, I only just saw the notification of your comment now! 😱😁. Yes, I saw. I was hoping for a close up and a smile, instead he got in trouble. Did you see the mess the officer made of his helmet plume? After he fiddled with it and moved some of it over, our boy ended up a face full of hair when he turned 😁😁.

@@royal_guardsgal7945 I noticed the pants too, looked like dirt or boot polish or something. I couldn't see anything wrong with the back of his uniform when they turned, but Mr Officer wasn't happy about it. Yes, they alternate with the Life Guards every 24 hours, but his group must be off this week. All new faces in the B&R now. I don't know how it works, but I imagine they do a week on then one or two off. They need a break from the public 😆. Have we ever seen him on a horse? Now that I think about it, I can only remember him standing or walking. 🤔

We are so privileged to witness the convergence of the modern world with the traditions, ceremony and ties to the past that we are afforded, through the institution of the British Royal Family. The crowds obviously love and admire the ensuing pageantry. They serve the King so very well. H could have learnt a great deal from them.
