Not watching all of this but I appreciate that you put the end credits from the disk version at the end here - love the art tour pared with the instrumental GirlTower. Also, I wonder if Alexander, a slave from birth escaped just a year ago, feels ambivalence about now being someones master (besides being prince and king), even if he's a better one. Would he still be able to visit his family if he freed the Genie? Interesting dilema.

I mean, I'm pretty sure it's implied that his family is at the wedding because Shamir helped. Also, I think being a slave has taught him to be mindful of how to handle power.

@@redshirtveteran5688 He does comes across as thoughtful and considerate, particularly with Robbie Benson's voice - I just wonder what the deal is with genie servants; do they really need a master, or is he just institutionalized to think so? Could Alex free him if he wanted to and would he wreak havoc if he did? Does Alex sympathize with him or as a former slave or does he feel more secure with the balm of power over someone(thing), especially if he can be the good master and keep him compliant with peppermint? Basically, I wish Jane Jensen could have kept telling sequels to this.

@MagusMarquillin Yeah, I get what you mean. And I'm not sure what Shamir would do. He's only the second genie we see in the KQ games. The first was pretty mean, though maybe he was tricked into that bottle.
